A little late, but an update nonetheless

I did the BLC 10 week challenge. It was slow loss for me since EVERYTHING seemed to happen. I was slammed packed with family sick, husband having 2 surgeries, trying to find work. Lost 13.2 pounds in 10 weeks. I would have to look at what size I was wearing.. I think 14/16, but as I sit here I am wearing size 12. I am not complaining, especially since last September I was wearing a size 26/28. I haven't gotten my workouts back to normal- my schedule is just SO out of whack. I do believe since I start work on Monday (yay!) that I can get back into a routine. And it is colder.. I love walking/jogging when it is cold. I haven't had any issues with my knee in a while so I am going to push harder to make better time with my 5k time. I want to do another timed race in February- so we will see how I do. I need to try to push harder- especially so I can run better in softball (for next season) Only 1 (possibly 2) games left this season. I am glad I was able to partake. It was a goal of mine.     Lots of pant size improvements since last year!

Good luck with work starting up, I got a temp job too, but I hope to start on Tuesday, not Monday. I have training tomorrow.

It's also a good thing that at least somebody likes running in the cold. Best of luck with the 5k! :-)

A new week is upon me. A quick glance into the previous week's goals

log in SP daily- I forgot a day.... You can beat me :(
10k on fitbit daily- done!
go to Zumba class- done!
go to the gym at least 2 times right after I drop Harlan off at school. done!

This past week I was kinda struggling with myself. I seemed a bit down. Just stressed I do believe. I feel as though I did the least possible to get by.

Here's to a new week - hopefully better, ESPECIALLY since its my bday on Wednesday and since I am a nerd- the new expansion of WOW comes out. I know I know. My goals will be kinda low this week, but I don't want to set myself up for failure.

log in SP daily
10k on fitbit daily
go to Zumba class IF I don't go to the Rangers game. (zumba classes are on Wednesday and I am suppose to go to the game- if I am not going to the game I will still go to Zumba)
get 2 timed 5ks in

    Swall- it's 10000 steps a day is what I strive for. Its about 4/5 miles a day. Hal- no I can't run yet. I have a torn ACL so I walk/jog. I am trying to build myself back to how I was before I moved to Texas. I was doing good and walking almost 6 miles 3-4x/week. Damn this move- LOL

    What is a 10k on fitbit? Are you walking 6 miles a day?

    Two running 5k's? If so that's amazing! Still awesome if it's walking too :-) I walked a 5k yesterday. Don't worry about not logging in for a day. I feel guilty staying on here so often :-/

Alright- one week down. My goals for the past week were
-log into SP daily
-10k steps on fitbit/day

well i didn't log in daily... but I had to go to the ER this past week so it threw me off as well as wearing my fitbit each day. I know I went over 10k each day. I did complete a personal goal on fitbit which was to go up 50 flights of stairs in one day. I got to 57. :D

This week's goals:

log in SP daily
10k on fitbit daily
go to Zumba class
go to the gym at least 2 times right after I drop Harlan off at school. (I am trying to rearrange my work out schedule to this time frame)

I hope I can get there :D

I guess I never thought about how many steps I take in a day. But 10,000 seems like a lot. Also, I like the name Harlan.

BLC 16- starting up with another one

Ok, so I kinda fell off wagon last challenge... I didn't gain, but I did stop logging in, posting, and all that fun stuff. This move threw me off and I need to get back with it. I am close... under 200lbs and 50 more pounds until goal. I need to start tracking, I need to drag my happy ass out to the gym.

Things to help me... I bought a bike the other week. I am hoping to get on more and to drag my spawn out with me. I got a fitbit replacement since my husband was nice enough to wash it emoticon

Goals for the BLC 16
-lose 15 more pounds
-drink all my daily water
-take all my vitamins daily
-get back to doing 15k/week (so I can work up more and faster)

Goals for this week
-log into SP daily
-10k steps on fitbit/day

I know these goals look minor, but its just to get started. I hope to over achieve... build my confidence :D

    Setting minor goals are usually the goals that stick with you once you start doing them. Starting off slow really works :-)

Stay with us this time and you'll do great! Good to hear you didn't gain though, congrats on being in Onederland as well!

WUB week 3

I didn't set many goals for this past week since I knew it was going to be crazy since I was moving. Exercise.... I did at least the 10 min of cardio each day and then some :D now I need to step it up... I am SOOOO close to the under 200 goal that I have. My other goal for last week was keeping up SP like I have been.. I failed at it :( Just getting everything set up really kept me busy. Now to stop playing around. Goals for this week.. hmm.. I need to figure this out.

#1!!! make sure I get all my water in!!! I realized that the 2 days I haven't gotten in all my fluids. I know I know.. slap my hand. I am doing good so far for today.

#2. Get my fingerprints so I can finish transfer over my stupid nursing license
#3. Pass out my resume to at least 2 clinics.
#4. Exercise. I know I need to work on my new plan... honestly I know it won't be this up coming week since I still have to handle switching everything over to being a Texas resident. So 10 min cardio daily and walk walk walk walk. I am not going to focus on the distance this week, just getting out there. I will put on there to try out the HOA gym.
#5 SP- log in daily!!!!! and log in food and exercise.

    Wow, that's a lot to juggle and do all this. The fact that you set any goals knowing that you had to do all of that and you accomplished some of it makes it doubly as awesome. Keep setting goals and working for them, you'll be well ahead in when everything starts to settle down for you. I hope your move goes smoothly and best of luck on the job searching.
