I got up early to do my C25K week 6 day 2...a couple of nice 10 minutes intervals. I realized that I should probably not be trying to run at 6mph. My heart rate goes over 90% so I decided to slow down for the last half to 5.8mph. I'll do that speed on Thursday for the 25 minute run.
I also did my jumping jacks, crunches, pushups and the bootcamp video for today (lower body). Only 2 more days of the bootcamp and then I'll be back to my regular MWF weight training which will be nice, actually. If I feel like it, I'll do the bootcamp video again this afternoon. I'm curious to see if the leg exercises will feel as difficult when I haven't just been running.
I'll try to be good at the potluck. I'm going to limit myself to one plate (just like any other buffet). Most likely no dessert, but I will bring a pecan pie square home for my husband (my friend Diane the dietitian made them but they are in now way healthy).
Dinner tonight will be some black bean burgers (Morningstar Farm) because we've got some whole wheat buns that really need to get used up before they start growing anything. Some sort of vegetable on the side...I'll have to check the freezer ('cos I'm too lazy to cut vegetables and I eat more if the work is already done).
It should be a good day.
Got lots of data to analyze.
