I got up early again and did my Bootcamp video (cardio) then did another cardio video from exercise tv on demand (I can't remember which one but it was Cindy Whitmarsh). Also did my jumping jacks, crunches and pushups. Kind of an easy day but that's okay.
I'm glad it's Friday. It seems like it's been a long week.
Last night my husband (who exercises very infrequently) decided to do some. He did one of the preset workouts on the incline trainer and then did some running. He ran 20 minutes at 6mph. That's the same as I did yesterday. I was sort of annoyed because he rarely exercises and then just does 2 miles. I work out a lot and it took me 5 weeks with the plan to get there. I was sort of sad and still am a little. I know that I shouldn't compare myself to him, but it's hard not to. I know I had actually gotten to the end of week 5 before (first week of August) and then hurt my back. I was trying to take it easy on it so it could heal, so I avoided any running or jumping for a while.
I was so excited about my workout yesterday until last night.
I need to get past that and just keep plugging along. I'll get to 3 miles soon.
Anyway, I'm testing a recipe for Smothered Pork Chops tonight. I think I'll make some mashed potatoes and green beans to go along with them. There will be a picture later, so stay tuned.

No, I didn't eat the whole pork chop. They were gigantic. I had about half.
