Friday morning I completed week 1 of CLX Push
Push Circuit 3
Sumo Squat - W 20 R 8 (will try 22.5 pounds next time)
Single-Arm Row - W 20 R 8 (will try 22.5 pounds next time)
Chest Fly - W 12.5 R 7
Bowler Lunge - W 22.5 R 8 (barely)
Double-Arm Bent-Over Row - W 17.5 R 8 (will try 20 pounds next time)
Bench Press - W 12.5 R 8 (will try 15 pounds next time)
Single-Leg Sumo Squat - W 17.5 R 8 (will try 20 pounds next time)
Reverse-Grip Bent-Over Row - W 17.5 R 8 (will try 20 pounds next time)
Long-Arm Pullover - W 15 R 6
Boy, my chest and inner thighs were pretty sore on Saturday.
It was a busy day at work and I was quite glad when the day was over.
We went out for dinner at our local Mexican-owned Chinese Restaurant.
Snow peas with water chestnuts, Chinese broccoli with BBQ pork, tofu with mushrooms and beef fried rice. Very tasty :-)
Saturday we took my husband's Grandma out to lunch. I didn't get a picture but I had a falafel plate...I'm sure you're not surprised.
Then we cleaned up around the house and I changed the sheets and towels in the guest bedroom and bathroom. My oldest nephew came to spend the night. He is working at UC Davis over the summer and went to a concert near us so we invited him to stay.
My brother came over and we all had brunch before my nephew headed back to Davis. It was nice to see him...it's been a while.
My husband and I did our long run. It was supposed to be 5 miles but we ended up going 6.1 (according to the Sparkpeople run mapper...it was 7.76 according to my Polar GPS...I think it has a problem). Either way, we definitely covered more distance than we should have. Next week we're supposed to do a 2.5 mile run...I think we'll use the track.
