I know I missed blogging yesterday. Way too tired in the evening when we got back from the model contest. Lots of fun but exhausting. Yesterday was my rest day from exercise, so nothing to report on that front.
Today was day 8 of ChaLEAN.
Burn Circuit 1
Sumo Squat with Hip Lift - W 15 R 12 (I'll try 17.5 next time)
Lunge with Posterior Fly - - W 7.5 R 12
Push Up with Leg Lift - 12 (on toes)
Dead Lift with Posterior Fly - - W 7.5 R 12
Lunge with Core Rotation - - W 17.5 R 12
Bench Press and Leg Lower - - W 12.5 R 12
Squat with Side Bend - - W 17.5 R 12
Forward Lean Lunge with DBL Arm Posterior Fly - - W 7.5 R 12 (6 each leg)
Chest Fly with Hip Lift - - W 10 R 12
I increased all my weights since I did it last Sunday. We moved the weights close to the TV, so I don't have to pause as much to get ready for the next exercise. Still getting used to setting the weights. You have to twist both sides to lock in the plates and they twist in opposite directions (well, it's really the same direction but since one is in front and one is behind it is opposite....does that make any sense?).
I decided to get some cardio in so I did 40 minutes on the elliptical. I wanted to get some miles for the virtual relay and I felt like ellipticalling.
It's been a catch up on chores day. I did some swiffervac, we went grocery shopping, I baked some blueberry Vitamuffins for my husband to take to work (yes, from a mix). He's fixing the sprinklers right now. Apparently one of the pipes was leaking and spraying water all over. I hope he finishes soon because I don't like to be left without any water and he needed to shut off the water to make his repairs.
I was going to do laundry but that will have to wait until the water is turned back on.
