I did my measurements and even took pictures. I am brave enough to post measurements but not pictures.
Upper arm: 11
Abductors: 37.5 (Yes, I do have quite the saddlebags)
Thighs: 21.25 (both are the same)
I did the Burn Circuit 1 this morning. Since it was the first time through any of the workouts, I went a little light. I am going to need some heavier weights, though. The heaviest dumbbells I've got are 15 pounds. Those were just too light for the squats.
Afterward, I was feeling like doing a little cardio so I jumped on the elliptical for 50 minutes. That felt good after a day off yesterday.
I was really hungry for my Ezekial English muffin and almond butter after that workout.
We went to Trader Joe's and did some grocery shopping. We went to the Taqueria for lunch and I got a carne asada taco. I ordered two because they're usually small, but these were gigantic. They used the 6" tortillas instead of the 4.5" ones and put a lot of meat in. My husband ate the second one.
I decided to price weights online. I finally decided to go for the BowFlex SelectTech's that Chalene uses. She isn't a whole lot taller than me and it looked like she didn't have any problem with them being too big. We already have way to many free weights sitting in the living room: 2's, 3's, 5's, 8's, 10's , a single 12, and 15's. I know I need another 12 and at least 20 immediately. I have a feeling I'll be need 25, 30, maybe more for this program. The heavier the weight, the more expensive it is. I figured why not get adjustable. The one's I ordered go up to 50 pounds each. I doubt I'll need anything heavier than that. I guess I'll see on Thursday how they are. They should be arriving Wednesday but that's my running/Burn Intervals and Ab Burner day.
I guess I should get going on some laundry and swiffervac.
