I had to read that grant application once more today. We need to make sure that the copy that is submitted is the same as the copy we wrote. My boss said he couldn't stand to look at it again because he's too tired of it. Fair enough, he wrote it. So I spend a good part of my morning looking that over. Also had a lot of data to look at and enter into our excel spreadsheet. Luckily, I saw no inspectors today.
I did get in some elliptical this afternoon...5 miles, not too shabby. I realized today as I was recording my miles and calories burned on my calendar that I hadn't taken a day off in almost 2 weeks. I think I will start taking Wednesdays off. I pretty certain that 2 total body strength workouts a week is adequate. Is this true? Feel free to give me your opinion on this. I don't want to take a weekend day off because I tend to eat more on the weekends (I think that's a pretty common occurrence for most people) and I'd like to be burning some calories. I also tend to walk around more on work days than I do if I'm just at home.
We had some Jennie-O turkey burgers for dinner. I had mine on an Eating Right Sandwich Slender (the Safeway knock off of the Oroweat/Arnold/Earthgrains Sandwich Thins). My husband had his on regular buns. He decided he wanted chili burgers so we opened a can of turkey chili since we didn't have any left from the potluck. A side of asaparagus and it was a very nice dinner.
Tomorrow brings another opportunity to dodge the inspectors. I've got some reading to do at work and some supplies to get ready for our study participants.
