C25K Week 3 Day 2 and 28 Day Challenge Day 5

I had to get my workout in early (3am) because they're repaving the streets and I wouldn't have time in the evening.
It was a little tougher than usual to run because I hadn't even had a snack but I made it through. I tried a hip-hop podcast today. The music was good but I couldn't really hear the cues to change pace very well. Luckily I'm running on a treadmill so I can see the time and know when to change myself.
Back is a little sore now but should be fine later.
I'm looking forward to my next run/walk on Thursday.

    Good Job with your C25K work-out!

Do you have an iPod for running? I found a pretty good app for the C25K... it's called Get Running Lite (and it's Free!). If you are listening to music, the voice will actually pause the music to tell you when to switch to walking/running.

28 Day Challenge Day 2

I did day 2 of the challenge...lower body toning and then I hiked on my incline trainer for 45 minutes.
My lower back was a little sore from all of the jumping yesterday. I hope it will be happy tomorrow when I start the 3rd week of the C25K.

The 28 Day Challenge Day 1

I decided to give the 28 day challenge a try. Day 1 is 10 minutes of a cardio bootcamp video. I did 40 minutes from the Cardio Blast DVD-- Hop to it, Jump Rope and Cardio Boot Camp (twice).
Fun and definitely got me sweating.

    Well done! Trust me I have started Zumba by following DVD's & work up a sweat every time but it gets easier & easier.

C25K Week2 Day 3

Finished the second week of C25K. Back a little sore but not too bad. We'll see if I can do some circuit training tomorrow.
