I guess I've gotten back in the habit of exercising in the afternoons. It's hard to do a workout in the morning if I've done one in the afternoon so it perpetuates itself all week.
It was a sort of busy day at work. A manuscript to proof read and some blood samples to prep for the HPLC. I also was looking up articles to find out how to prep samples for some new chemicals we will be studying. While reading, I danced around my office for a while. When the good music comes on, I just can't help myself. Good thing I don't have any windows in my office.
I did my ST workout today. I decided to skip the lower body (squats, deadlifts, calf raises) because my left hamstring was still sore from Monday. May have pulled it a little. I did the upper body (all 10 pounds except triceps kickbacks at 8 pounds) and crunches. Then I did 3 miles on the elliptical.
I realized this morning that we did not have any jarred pasta sauce. We did, however, have some canned diced tomatoes and tomato sauce so I made my own sauce this time around.
Dinner was whole wheat penne, my fancy homemade sauce, turkey meatballs (frozen) and broccoli.
It turned out pretty well. I haven't made my own sauce in quite a while.
I am very glad it's Wednesday.
