I slept in this morning. Got up at about 6am. You all know that is late for me.
I did not do an hour on th elliptical like I had planned. My knees were a little sore last night so I thought maybe I had been pushing too hard and took a rest day. I know that's unusual for me. I did do my QuickFire team things: 3 sets of 10 squats and this month is pilates moves so I did the single leg stretch. I swiffer vac'd a little, did a couple of loads of laundry, went grocery shopping but that's it. Maybe after dinner we'll turn on the PS3 and play a game...not sure.
Before heading to the grocery store, we stopped for lunch at a place we've been wanting to try. Alexi's Resturant is a small diner. I had an egg white omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, zucchini and feta cheese. Very tasty but a little heavy on the feta. I didn't eat a lot of that. The home fries were very tasty. My husband ate about 2/3 of mine. He had a hot turkey sandwich..the usual..open face with turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. I want to try the blueberry buckwheat pancakes next time we go. I love buckwheat pancakes. I was so sad when IHOP stopped serving them.
We decided to walk around Michael's crafts for a little while afterward. They're in the same shopping center. I bought some more cupcake boxes to use for gifts. Then off to the grocery store to stock up on a few things.
I think we're going to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner tonight. My husband wants some vegetables since he hasn't had anything but potatoes yesterday and today. That should be good. I hope we go soon, I'm pretty hungry.

Well I was so exhausted yesterday that I slept in this morning. The headache was gone and I felt good.
I was good today. No candy. When I got home from work, I did an hour on the elliptical and added 5 miles to the virtual ST to NYC challenge. I'm thinking I might elliptical again in the morning and maybe do some strength training after work. My husband has to help a friend of his move a TV after work so he might be home latish. It's always good to burn a few extra calories on Friday because we go out to dinner.
Tonight I'll be having some of the leftover roasted chicken. I was thinking of making a wrap with the pita and adding some pepper jack cheese and some onions. Maybe even put it in the oven like a pizza.....yeah, that sounds good.

Even though I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning at the very early hour of 2:45, I did. Then I proceeded to do 47 minutes on the elliptical...wanted to get in 4 miles for the Virtual SF to NYC. Of course I had to go down and feed our cat and the strays outside, get my water, get into my exercise clothes, and get a Man from U.N.C.L.E. DVD loaded in the player before I could get started. I wish there was some way to just get up and go without having to use up close to 30 minutes of my morning. Then I had to rush to get a shower in and inhale by english muffin with peanut butter before heading out to work. I guess I could start getting up 15 minutes earlier...I'll try that tomorrow and see if I can be slightly less rushed.
Work wasn't too busy today but busy enough to keep me from being bored. That's good because I brought leftover cookies in and didn't have time to eat any.
I stopped on the way home to pick up a rotisserie chicken (organic, even) for dinner. I'm also going to make some baked falafel patties. I may decide to keep it a vegetarian day and not have any chicken. I'll decide when we're eating. I've got whole wheat pita, roasted garlic hummus, some beautiful grape tomatoes, romaine lettuce and onions. A little hot sauce and we're ready to rock! It should be tasty.
I don't watch Biggest Loser but I will be watching What Not To Wear tonight.
