My gyming (thanks Samaara) today was the elliptical for 60 minutes again. My knees are very happy with it. My right foot (a little plantar fasciitis) is starting to feel better, too. Maybe by Saturday I can try running again. We shall see. Otherwise me and my brother will be fighting over the elliptical since he's staying over for New Years Eve.
Nothing too exciting today. I did some laundry, I got the mail, I baked some muffins for my husband. I did take a look at the new Bob Harper DVDs...yikes! I'm afraid to do his "My Workout". I'll have to wait until I feel like I can do some jumping before I try it out. The kettlebell workouts also look very intense. I'm going to stick with the first ones for a little while before I'll be ready to move on to these new ones.

As has become my habit on Sundays, I did some yoga. I tried out Bethanny's yoga workout on exercise TV on demand. Not a bad workout. My shoulders and arms are pretty sore...some is residual from Jackie's beating on Friday.
We had breakfast with a friend we hadn't seen for a while. I was pretty good..egg whites, black bean patty, 1 corn tortilla and a few blueberries.
Afterward, my husband and I headed out to Berkeley. We went to the Ace Hardware. Why go all the way to Berkeley to go to a hardware store? They have a very good selection of plastic models. My husband's hobby is model building. We then went to our favorite Indian restaurant in Berkeley, Ajanta. I had some saag paneer (spinach and cheese). They make it nice a spicy. The naan is crispy but soft. And they have brown basmati rice on request.
On our way back, we stopped at Target. I got a $40 gift card as a present and it was burning a hole in my wallet. I picked up a 19" LED TV to put in the exercise room. No, the $40 didn't cover the whole thing but it made it more reasonably priced. It'll go next to the window. Once the mounting hardware I ordered from Amazon arrives...should be Wednesday.
I'm going to need to use the elliptical very soon..perhaps tomorrow. We went out for dinner as well. Chicken enchilada (I brought the other 2 home), rice and beans. Actually, I came in at the low end of my calorie range for the day...not to bad for 3 meals out.
