I did actually sleep in this morning. Until 3:30am with the cat lying on my chest.
I put the turkey brine that had finally cooled down to room temperature in the fridge. I'll be brining it tonight. I had a little breakfast and did a little cleaning.
Then I did some circuit training.. Jari Love Get Ripped 1000 (because you're supposed to be able to burn up to 1000 calories and hour...yeah...right). It was a pretty good workout and I did sweat a lot, but only burned about 250 calories according to my heart rate monitor. I think part of the problem is they get the actual calories burned performing the strength exercises while the heart rate monitor can't do that.
I baked the Sparkling Cranberry Gems in a fall shapes cookie pan. The first batch I didn't put enough dough in the spaces so they didn't get very good shapes. The second batch worked much better:
For dinner tonight we'll be having some salmon burgers with sweet potato waffle fries and whatever vegetable I pull out of the freezer.
Tomorrow, after I do my day 2 of B210K, starts the real cooking: stuffing, gravy, turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes. It should be fine, I've got helpers (no, not the cat...she's not very helpful).

Even though my shoulders were a little sore from yoga yesterday, I went ahead and did Jackie Warner Xtreme Timesaver Training this morning. Again, it was an excellent workout. I really like that one!
I had a busy day at work. It made the time go by very fast, though.
I'm not sure where we will be going for dinner tonight. We are going to meet our possible new cat, Jojo. I guess we'll find out if we can get along. I'm kind of torn because I don't know how our cat, Malika, will adjust. I don't want her to be mad at us for bringing a new kitty home . I doubt Jojo will come home with us tonight even if we do decide to take her. Hard decision.

I finished the 9th week of C25k...actually ran 3.4 miles in 35 minutes and then walked a little on the treadmill afterward. I made sure to roll my calves before and after. I think that did the trick.
I had to pick up some samples from a study subject today and drop them off at work. I brought my husband along and then we went to my brothers after.
We all went to the Indian buffet for lunch. I did only get one plate:
Sorry, I must have been moving while I took the picture so it's a little blurry. I got a little palak paneer, potato masala, channa masala, zucchini masala, mint chicken, a couple of battered and fried french fries and some basmati rice. Tasty!
After dropping my brother off, we headed over to the new Whole Foods. It was crowded but at least we could park this time. I was able to get everything I needed for our Thanksgiving meal. The turkey was $45!! Yikes!!!
It's been raining on and off all day here but that's okay. I actually like the rain. I don't like driving in it, though and I was the one driving today. People weren't too crazy.
