Well, I binged on some of those leftover Halloween candy cookies last night. I had 3...maybe that's not really a binge but I did feel bad about it because it put me over my calorie limit by 35 calories. I did run yesterday so maybe it's not too bad in hindsight.
I did Jari Love's Get Ripped DVD this morning for the first time. It is straight weight lifting and my heart rate never got above 101. In the 55 minutes I burned a total of 85 calories....not many at all. I did fatigue my muscles, though so that should create some afterburn to rebuild muscle. It was a nice change of pace. I will be checking out the rest of her DVDs just to see what they're all like (since I've got a big stack of them just waiting to try).
When I get home from work, I've got more cookies to bake. I mixed up the dough and it's sitting in the fridge waiting for me. I should get through it much faster today. This particular recipe has you refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour after mixing it before you bake so yesterday I mixed it up before dinner. Then my husband was kind of late so I was going to start baking but as soon as the oven came up to temperature, he got home. We had dinner and that took another hour away from baking. Anyway, it took waaaaaay too long yesterday so I'm hoping to just start baking when I get home today since I've got more dough waiting for me instead of me waiting for it.
