Super Moon

Did everyone see that moon last night >

It was hot pink and huge and from where we were watching on the beach it was reflecting a beautiful pink glow on the water.

Defiantly one of the best moons rises I have ever seen and I have seen a lot...I love them.

If you read this blog before dark tonight do yourself a favor and be outside somewhere you will be able to see it rise tonight...... it probably will be just as glorious as last night.

I tried to put pictures from last night on but it says file too big :((

    We sit outside with or coffee every morning around 3 a.m. It was indeed a beaut. The weather has been very unsettled here the last few days, lots of clouds, but windy. The moon light has been calling me out to the lawn for a dance.

Did a yoga class first thing this morning then came home to work on garage. I have been sweating bullets out there second day in a row but I have a nice clean spot for my treadmill. My husband had hooked up a tv out there about a year ago for when I used to work out with my other stuff, gazelle and mini trampoline, so I am ready to roll.

Not today though. lol
I have done enough sweating now I am going to take a nice long walk on the beach and maybe if it is not too cold take a swim.

    Yes, you did indeed work out enough. Well done! I also have been working on my garage this week. I hauled out a few boxes of items for donation and they are on the front porch for pick up. I now have a nice clean spot in my garage. It's a beginning!

That is what I say to myself every morning and it is true always.

Yesterday I was saying to my husband I am going to make space in the garage for a treadmill I need to get one because I am not going to join a gym this summer and I need to start moving more.

Today I went down a little side street on my way to the bank after leaving work and there on someone's front lawn was a treadmill with a free sign stuck to it. I stopped the guy came out and told me it works beautiful his wife just got a new one. So I went and got my dads pickup truck and it is now sitting outside my garage waiting for me to clean a spot for it.

That garage cleaning will be my workout today because it is going to take some hours in there.... it is a mess.
And tomorrow I start putting some miles on my treadmill. I am so happy.

Summer 2014

I can not believe June is almost over !
Exactly 4 months from today October 22 we are leaving for our yearly vacation. This year we are going to London because my daughter will be doing fall semester of her junior year in college there.
I have never thought about going to London before but I am looking forward to it.
I am sorry to say my weight has not changed since the last blog I wrote about a month ago.
I bought the exercise dvd's I mentioned but have not started them yet.
What am I waiting for ??? Who knows...... I guess I got out of the habit of scheduling in exercise to my time and that really has to change.
I have been spending a lot of time out on the porch with a book and that is where I have to fit in the exercise time.
Time to get serious and I can use my upcoming vacation as motivation.
Four months is plenty of time to lose 20 pounds if I put my mind to it.
I am also going to give myself time to come on here and blog about my I am going to put my Nike bracelet on and start tracking my activity.
It is going to be a great summer.

Summer clothes

I am trying on my summer clothes this morning and things are not looking good at all :(

At the end of last summer I was hanging out at in between 162-165 this morning I was 175.

I know it is the exercise factor....not belonging to a gym has really made a big difference since 90 % of the time I eat healthy real food and I do not overeat.

So I have to figure out what to do about it. My daughter is home from school for the summer and has joined a gym and has asked I join too.

Another option is adding some DVD's that a friend told me she uses and she looks great.
I could add another 90 minute yoga class a week in and between those 2 classes and the DVD's that really should show some results.

The second plan appeals to me more because I just do not seem have the motivation to get myself to a gym this year.

So while I am thinking things over I am putting together some outfits that I can wear now and not look too bad in and I am hanging a couple cute dresses up where I can see them everyday for motivation . My goal is to be wearing them happily before the end of this summer !

    I relate to the clothes issue for sure. My weight hasn't moved much but around. I have dresses hanging too. I however am getting back into gym. We will do this! We will be awesome!

    I am hoping I can work my way back up to my maximum exercise program too so I can relate to what you said. Diet alone is not enough for me. I hope you can wear all your summer clothes soon.

    I think that it is a whole program for weight management, fitness and health. Lots of water, plenty of sleep, being physically and emotionally engaged, daily exercise, and for me 100% adherence to 100% low fat plant based eating program.

As to not feeling motivated, perhaps you just need to do it with someone else encouraging you. No biggie. I need to do things by myself on my own. No biggie.

I will applaud your success.
