After discovering Health at Every Size, my outlook on weight has really changed. So, I'm no longer tracking my food on here, just my exercise for now. I've gone off my medications and gained about 20 pounds in 4 months. I'm not trying to lose weight right now, just get my exercise back up for stress reduction and depression/anxiety.

Here we go!

Finally. After getting back to my full pre-WW weight of 214, I decided I had to do something. I'm really trying less to focus on the scale and adding focus to the smaller goals: moving each day, eating more veggies since fruit isn't an issue, and getting back into my 14 jeans.

I also want to try the C25K again but I'm going to do some other cardio for a couple more weeks to get my body used to exercise again.

    it took me a little bit to realize what ww is. :D anyway, yes! c25k rocks! I'm sore as hell and I'm only officially on the second week. but its nice to know its actually doing something--sore is good.

Stopping C25K (for now)

So I'm stopping the C25K training. Last week was really rough, and I started to get shin splints during Thursday's workout. I've decided to stop and focus on other cardio until the first of the year, and I'm going to try the C25K again then.

I'm disappointed but I know I need to listen to my body.

    Well that sucks. I'm actually going to start it tonight, I have a friend that wants to do it with me, so hopefully that will help. Anyways, keeping up with other cardio should help you to get ready to try again.

I did it!

I did the first workout of the C25K and I didn't have an asthma attack. I'm so excited! I'm a little nervous about my hips being sore tomorrow as well as keeping this up over Thanksgiving next week but I am SO excited. I'm such a dork, I totally called my mom and dad after it was over and told them I jogged.
Me. Jogged.

I even did an extra 1/4 mile at the end. I jogged all the way around the track. I don't remember the last time I could do that. Maybe playing soccer when I was little. haha

I hate to fall back into "being a girl sucks sometimes" and blame things on my uterus, but it's really taking it's toll the last couple of days. Yesterday I was totally out of energy for no reason, I didn't do my cardio, and I overate because I wanted comfort food to fix my crappy mood and tiredness. Not so great.

Today was a little better. Still had an embarrassing moment at school where I had to dash home and change (SO middle school of me) but I did my strength exercises and I'll finish below my calorie range for today.

Also, it's Halloween! Michael's favorite holiday. We're going to a live showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight and I'm excited!

    Woohoo! Rocky Horror might even be better than the French Quarter. But both would be better than that.....
