Your garden looks great Nancy! It's so dry in my state now that we have to water our garden every day. I am looking forward to fresh veggies.

Beautiful! Can't wait for mine to ripen. About another month if the weather is decent. Last year the tomatoes started out great, but then died

Thanks for stopping by my tomato blog.......that was a quick response. The next one to be ripe is larger than this one. What is wrong with your tomatoes? Are you giving them some fertilizer? Nancy

I promised Day #3 to be pink...here it is

Sunday, June 12, 2011

Yesterday I posted pics of my tree rose that changes colors. I posted Day # 1-yellow, and Day #2-orange. Today I am posting Day #3 pink. The same rose changes from yellow to orange to pink. That is hard to believe, BUT seeing is believing. If you look at Day 3 you will see several stages on the tree rose. My physical therapist gave me this tree rose when I moved from NC, back to VA (my home state)

Day # 1 - yellow

Day # 2 - orange

Day # 3 - Pink

My Tree Rose

Friday, June 10, 2011

I told all of you that when I had my shoulder surgery, my physical therapist and I became friends. I was leaving the state and at my last appointment she told me she had ordered me a tree rose that has miniature roses. It was delivered in April and I planted it. It has just bloomed it's first rose this week and it is really pretty......just look at the colors....different color in the same rose.

This rose bush is a take-off from another rose I purchased several years ago. I had that bush on here several blogs ago. It starts out in a tight yellow bud with orange edges, then a golden color and finally a pink. All of this is one rose (3 colors) on the same bush.

Beautiful! I love the color! I had a tree rose and I killed it. I keep trying and trying with roses. I don't think I have a green thumb.
