All Done

Kitchen cabinets all installed and counter tops are finished. Now waiting for son to get here to do the back splash. I cleaned all of the counter tops this a.m. and got everything back into the cabinets. I had to take things out so sawdust didn't get on everything. We have been renovating (MAJOR) since we moved here in December. I am tired of everything being a mess. We are going to stop as soon as the back splash is done. At least until fall for the inside. Now we are doing major landscaping too. We removed 18 bushes last week and started planting other things. We will be working in the yard for a while now. I love working in the yard.

Did my walk in the afternoon instead of morning. I really prefer morning. I can't leave until Mom leaves for the senior center though at 8:00. Thank you Fit Camp #2 for the pedometer challenge. I don't think I would have started walking yet...but I love a challenge, so here I am.

Remember to eat healthy, track your food, drink your water and do some exercise. ALSO, have a day tomorrow.

Sounds like you had a very successful day. And I agree, the challenges are great way to get our behinds in gear and move aren't they? I know what you mean about remodeling or working building stuff. Last summer my house seemed full of sawdust all the time. I finally got so frustrated I took all my decorations out of the kitchen and refused to put them back til DH was done working on his projects. Have a Wonderful Mother's Day. Again, I did my walk today. 3 for 3.......... now I am back into walking, I won't be blogging each day saying I did it.......lol...lol....

Did my walk

I only started back walking yesterday. I was motivated by one of the challenges where we have to track our steps each day. I moved in Dec. and just haven't taken the extra time to do my walking. 2 days in a row. yay. That challenge sure did give me the motivation.

We are having another beautiful day. I have been still working in the yard. I LOVE working in the yard.

Make sure you track your food, eat healthy, drink your water, and exercise. I am going out for my walk now. See you later. Boot camp 2 starts today and we are counting our steps....So far I have 8,438.........want to get to 10,000........

Yes, Nancy, I'm praying. My home state of Alabama is in need of our prayers. My family there is reporting that parts of the state look like a war zone. Thank you so much for your prayers! I haven't been able to reach my mother, but my nephew went over and checked on her and my step-father. I'm so thankful they're okay! The electricity there is expected to be off for 5 to 7 days.
