I always talk about how much I love my 's and I really do. There are so many pointers from so many different angles and so much support. BUT, I am really lucky to have so many friends other than my spark family. I have had 2 major surgeries since Sept 2, and I am still recuperating, and doing as expected with recovery. We live in NC and are moving back to VA in just 4 weeks from today. My wonderful husband has been packing us for 2 months and basically taking complete care of me. I still have p/t for the remaining 4 weeks we are here. The thing I am writing about being so thankful for right now is a friend I grew up with from grade school till current time. We have stayed in touch all of this time. When I told her we were moving back to VA, she insisted on driving here (6 hour trip) to help us get packed up. She arrived Monday (actually to time it to be here while my hubby went to VA to do some business on new house.) I am not able to help too much, but she got busy yesterday and got the whole dining room and most of the kitchen packed. I couldn't believe I have so much stuff. The china cabinet and buffet are just full of china/crystal and special "do-dads". All of these items have to be wrapped so carefully and she is doing a great job. Today the kitchen should get done and possibly the pantry. I know I have GREAT friends but can't believe someone would go to all of the time (away from her family) and come this far to help out a friend. Although, I would certainly do the same for her or any of my other good friends. There are 5 of us ladies that have kept in contact all of the time since grade school and still are "best" friends. I am so lucky to have such good friends and a WONDERFUL family.
