I lost my weight through Weight Watchers and have maintained my status as lifetime member. I have also been keeping maintenance for almost 12 years (in December). It is not the easiest thing in the world to do some days. Some days are really easy, some days aren't quite as easy and some days I have to work really hard to keep on track. For the biggest part of time it is easy and it is really good. When I do get off track, I don't "beat myself up". I just give myself a FRESH START and get back on track. I do work hard at it everyday. One thing that helps me is that I weigh each day (I know, some say that isn't good). If I am 1 or 2 lbs up, I really concentrate on tracking and drink more water and in just as quick a time that I went up , I am back to goal.
Spark People is a great website and offers so much to make it easier to get to goal. We have videos, tracking for food, exercise, great recipes, and just about anything you would want to do. Also the support of the great friends I have made here on SP has inspired me to do what I need to do to maintain. Have a wonderful day. Eat healthy, drink your water, exercise, and do your tracking.
