I keep dropping off site and coming back on. Got my activity tracker, it has helped some. Always looking for time and energy to do taht little extra. I've been working nights so I have been able to to laps around the building. Not sure what will hapen when I am back on the day shift. During vacation in March made a bet with my cousin, whoever loses the least amount of weight by the middle of July has to row the other across the pond ( not the Atlantic Ocean).
I have used this as an incentive to do better. Seems like I work all the time, like I am driven to it. I have not learned yet how to make myself a priority. It should be an easy thing to do. I am grateful every day for my life, myfamily, friends, job , and home. But I have to make myself eat better and move more. I need to make it a priority to blog and record my thoughts so I can go back to them. Well, break is over and it's time to return to work.

Missed a few days

I seemed to have run out of time the past few days. Trying to keep up on blogging and life in general takes a time. I have been working very hard the past few days. Switched between days and nights, 12 hour shifts messes me up. Kind of cuts short time for much else. Ihave not done great with diet . Alot of food flying around at work this week. I don't do well with so much food just laying around. tonight Salad is the going fare and that will be a good break from pizza, cakes , muffins, chocolates.Looking forward to fresh greens.

Shift work is really rough, but you'll do OK, and having a salad will definitely make you feel better emoticon

    It is so hard to keep balance when things in life change, like schedules. Hang tough and just get back on track. I have had several things lately remind me I can't do everything.

I guess this counts as day 4. Back to a 12 hour work day. I think I did fairly well, too many fats. Gotta work on that. Forgot to measure salad dressing, will do better tomorrow. All in all not hungry all day and past by the sweets without any problem. Breakfast ,lunch, dinner and snacks ready for tomorrow. I feel good about today. Hoping for another.

Well, I have known for a while I was back sliding and I really ignored it. Got on the scale today and what a jolt I got. It should not have been a surprise, I knew. kept pushing the thoughts away. I have been working a lot and just blew it off. Time to come to terms with my lapse in taking care of myself. Dumped the junk and bought healthy food today. I would like to lose 1% of my bodyweight by next week. Wish me luck

Try everyday to do something to help yourself.
