Carbs are forms of sugar, and sugar cues the pancreas to make more insulin, which in turn triggers appetite. The later in the day that you consume sugar, the more likely it is that you will get food cravings late at night. Late-night cravings are not a good thing!
The latest research about sugar metabolism has taken this basic insight and built on it.
One of the hot buzz-phrases in that research world is "insulin excursions. (it has nothing to do with travel) It turns out that the number of times during the day that you signal your pancreas to make insulin is just as important as how much sugar you eat. Each "excursion" is like a hammer delivering blow after blow to your cells. No wonder today's diabetes experts want you to limit the number of times you eat carbs, especially in the evening. Add to this the fact that insulin cues hunger hormones in the gut, and you've got one incredibly powerful physiological response.
Believe me, you're not going to win that battle if you fight it the conventional way.
But you strategically manage that war to your own weight-loss benefit. I'll give you two guiding principles:
Snack on fiber, protein, vegetables, and fresh fruits (not dried fruits)
Eat lean and green at night...

Sugar is what is making you FAT, and it is coming into your body from many different sources. Your body uses what it needs and then turns the rest into FAT! Once you know where all the Sugar is coming from and understand what happens to it once it's in your body, You can start to make adjustments.
Refined Sugar is found in processed foods, soda, candy, cookies, cake ice cream, etc.
Refined sugar is a simple carbohydrate. The body burns it for fuel before it will burn anything else by immediately turning it into glucose (blood sugar)
48 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR = 1 CUP OF SUGAR!
For example about Breakfast:
2 cups of corn flakes 12 teaspoons of sugar
1 normal size banana 6 tsp. of sugar
2 pieces of toast 8 tsp. of sugar
2 Tbs of jelly 7 tsp. of sugar
4oz milk on cereal 1 1/2 tsp. of sugar
6 oz box of orange juice 5 1/2 tsp. of sugar
TOTAL SUGAR INTAKE: 40 TEASPOONS!
ALMOST A FULL CUP OF SUGAR!
For lunch: Now let's see what happens when we add a large soft drink, a hamburger bun, and dessert.
French fries 12 tsp. of sugar
soda 14 tsp. of sugar
Bun 6 tsp. of sugar
peach pie 11 tsp. of sugar
TOTAL SUGAR INTAKE: 43 TEASPOONS!
WHAT ABOUT PIZZA? PIZZA IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE FOODS.
Whole pizza = 14 1/2 tsp. of sugar
1/2 pizza for you = 7 1/4 tsp. of sugar
24oz soda = 19 tsp. of sugar
TOTAL SUGAR INTAKE: 26 1/4 teaspoons!
If you ate that breakfast, that lunch, and then a pizza, it would be the equivalent of eating 109 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR. That's over 2 1/4 cups! So much for a healthy day of American eating!
Now you see the problem with the American diet, and probably our diet too. The problem is that our bodies are not burning all the food we eat, let alone our excess FAT. Our bodies are burning the crazy amount of Sugar in our foods. The result is, all the Sugar that doesn't burned turns into Fat!

Read 2 timothy 1:3-10
Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds. Heb. 10:24
My family believes in God but will not attend church with me. At times, I become discouraged, and my attendance becomes irregular. One sunday instead of going to church alone. I decided to stay home with my family. I was feeling out to God about my loneliness and my longing for family worship. not long after I prayed. I heard a knock at the door. My brother stood on our porch with his five-year old daughter. Emma. he asked if she could go to church with me. Emma had gotten up that morning, dressed, and told him that she wanted to go to church. My brother doesn't attend church: but he did not want to discourage Emma, so he drove he en miles to my home to send her to church with me.
That day, I did sit alone in church. As I held Emnma's hand, I realized that God had spoken tome through this child. Emma helped me not to feel so alone. God showed love to both of us that day.
Prayer: Almighty God, thank you for your love and case. Help us to see that sometimes our prayers are answered in unexpected ways. Amen.
