I did it..No money spent on buying lunch! This Week

Tuesday, September 09, 2008

emoticon everybody! I am proud to say that I have not spent any MONEY ON LUNCH THIS WEEK SO FAR! emoticon emoticon. I have in fact made lunch to hold me over for the rest of the week. Hopefully, my mom doesn't eat it all...lol. Hopefully, I can continue this on into next week...and I've been drinking a lot more water that I normally do...and I feel good. Until next time..taking it one day at a time!

emoticon - I rarely spend money on lunch or breakfast for that matter. I just thinks it's rediculous to pay for the over priced items that the cafeteria owner gets from BJs when I go to BJs myself every week or so. So I keep everything I need at my desk in my mini fridge and desk drawer. I shop once a week and haul everything into work or daily. If you really looked at it you're spending like 30-45 week in lunch, not including breakfast. Put those extra bucks in a stash for your FINE collection of clothing!

28th Birthday Survived!

Saturday, September 06, 2008

Hello to all my Spark community friends..Well, I managed to make it to my 28th Birthday ok ...I thank God for allowing me to see another year emoticon...on another note..I did not overeat...Although, I did indulge in a nice size portion of Red Velvet birthdat cake emoticon even though I was supposed to be taken out to Benihana's by my sister/best friend emoticon.. .DID I GO NO! Nor, did I get my birthday pedicure either emoticon. That is just fine, because all the birthday wishes that I received from all you and my family was just overwhelming! emoticon emoticon emoticon Like the saying goes.."God Never shuts one door, without opening up another one". Thank you again for the warm wishes...you all have truly made this an amazing day for me! emoticon

Hey Everybody...well TOMORROW IS MY 28TH BIRTHDAY...I am proud to say that I am alot smaller than I was last year this time! I refuse to be a part of his team...I am truly A BIGGEST LOSER (weight that is...lol) Down to 250lbs from 299. emoticon

Iris - this is AWESOME! You are doing great. I can't wait to say that I'm down 50 lbs. You are right, it's not easy and just like the song says...we fall down and get back up again. Keep getting back up again until you reach that moment when you can say - I HAVE ARRIVED! It's coming girl, to God be the glory!!

I am here if you need to be encouraged, motivated or uplifted.

Be strong and keep the faith!

I survived Labor Day!

Tuesday, September 02, 2008

Well yesterday afternoon..my family and I had a Labor Day Gathering at the park...and I can officially say that I survived all the temptation BBQ Ribs,Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, Green Beans, Cake, Cookies, Potato Salad...not to mention the PEACH COBBLER...the list goes on and on. I am not going to sit here and lie to all of you and say I did not eat, because I did...but for me it was all ABOUT PORTION CONTROL. I ate in moderation... I knew when to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I even walked my god-baby around the park trail for 20 min emoticon . For this esteemed accomplishment, I rewarded myself with a GREAT BIG SPARK GOODIE! emoticon
