OMG! so I have gained back some weight and am freaking out just a little! OK, ALOT! BUT I also know that I have the power to change and get back on track. Im watching my input and working out every day again. I love the workouts and am waiting for the good weather so that I can get outside and run. I am truly a fair weather exerciser, so walking, running, cycling, hiking is in the warm weather months. So that means that I need to make sure I am working out with weights indoors as much as I can. Cant afford and dont have time for a gym but Ive applied for key access to our company's fitness room, so once that is approved I can go after work 3 days a week. I think that should make a big difference. They probably have treadmills and eliptical machines, which would help to get some cardio in. Anyways....here's to major success with resetting my weight and hopefully my thyroid will cooperate! Yay!

Workouts and Eating habits

I either awaken to rain puddunking onto the roof outside my window - can be peaceful - or to the sqawk of birds - could be peaceful, but not always. I lie there, considering the many valid sounding reasons to stay put and not get up to work out. At least, they sound valid at that hour. When I give in to the temptation to skip it until later, I am haunted ALL DAY. I also find a direct correlation to my eating habits. It's like my body has adopted my mind's mentality of 'giveupitis'. But, when I push through the thoughts and find the reasons why I need this and I work my visualizations to see me fit, strong, thin, healthy, muscular, etc., then THAT is the motivation that rises me out from the comfort of the warmth beneath the covers. Also, those mornings of successful workouts correlate with a (mostly) daylong success rate of food choices. The power of intention works from the mind, the belief, and finally, action to support my goals. I wish everyone such success!

    Visualizing is one of the best tools possible.
I always find that I need to remember "thinking about working out is far worse than actually going out and doing it."
