Staying on track

With all that is going on in my life right now, I have made my diet and exercise my first priority. Well, actually my second. First is getting a job. (talk about anxiety...)

I put in 20 miles last week! I walked, jogged and/or ran 20 miles! Maybe this week it will be 22 miles.... I don't know, but I'll try.

    Making health first is always wise since everything else is affected by it, including all work. After the crush of my first layoff, I never thought of myself as out of work. Between the paying jobs, my work was looking for work that paid, lol. Now there's a tough job. Bully for you!

I'm Challenged for May

I have committed to 60 miles in the Roadrunners Team for the month of May. This is just 20 miles a week. Hopefully, this will help keep me on the fitness track. The new team I've joined, Quickfire is kicking my butt! (in a good way) My goal this month is to continue with the daily Quickfire Challenges, along with my cardio.

    I have completed 35 miles so far this month! Have just 25 to complete. Think I'll go over - that's a good thing!

    awesome!! this sounds great! Good luck! try splitting your miles through out the day? ( if you haven't already thought of that)

I feel fabulous!

I just finished 3.4 miles around the trail. It was very cloudy, threatening rain and windy. After stretching, I feel fabulous! I also did hops over a stretched-out resistence band. I saw that on a video a few months back and couldn't even do one without feeling like I was breaking my ankles - today I did over 70! Fitness progress! emoticon Scale progress, ah no.

I jogged 2-3/4 miles, walked another, and did floor exercises for about 15 minutes. I feel revived! ;-)

OK~ enough time off

I've had computer difficulties, depression problems, lack of sleep and I'm still jobless! Well, computer problems withstanding, all the other reasons for my lapse are exactly why I need to be here!!!

My weight has increased a couple of pounds.... even though I have been exercising a few times a week throughout. It's my food intake! Being home all day just makes me snack.... all day! It's time to get back to my journal accountability. If I eat it, I write it ~ every morsel.
