new year for new chances

Friday, January 11, 2008

It's the new year and you know what that means. new years resolutions!!! I hate them because i usually don't keep them. But I won't call this a new years resolution I will call this my new year for new chances. Chances to reach my goals and become the person I know I can be. Even if it's only baby steps, it's better then no steps at all!

Baby steps is the only way to go. You can do it! I never stick to my New Years Resolutions either, so this I did not make one.

Have a wonderful day!

I have fallen and I can't get up!!!

I came out of the gates running but now I seem like I can't get back on track. I haven't given up though, that's not an option but I have just stumbled a little and I am now trying to get it together again.

I agree. We are here to support each other. We have all been there, done that. New day begins now and it's time to make a life style change. Do not get disappointed. We start fresh today, now and move forward with our chins up!

I'd like to invite you to one of my favorite teams that's helped me a lot: Making Life Happen on Purpose. People on this team are very caring and thoughtful, leader Lisa Sayers is extremely helpful to all of us, posting helpful excerts from books, keeping the team very active and on our toes with a new challenge every month giving us valuable prizes from her biz. at her own expense, etc. Good Luck to you!

You came out of the gates did a great job of staying on a DIET.
Now, a diet can be very limiting and hard to is time to work on a lifestyle change which is something you will be able to do for life.
Take this next step to try and identify the triggers that are fighting with you right now. Hugs. You can do mini goal at a time.

bend over, take a deep breath, stand up straight and let it out. Now, you have started new. Dr. Rosen uses this exercise for "YOU, THE OWNER'S MANUAL" As Wayne Dyer says, WE CAN NEVER GO BACK AND CHANGE THE PAST. Just start NOW and go forward. Don't let your INNER BRAT control you.

off to a good start!!

I just have to share my excitement here!! I have lost 6lbs to date but what really made me happy was being able to fit into two pairs of shorts that were so tight before I almost passed out from lack of oxygen when I put my shoes on. I can now put my shoes on with ease. Just had to share that!!:)

Wow! That's great, eventually what matters is getting rid of those inches to fit comfortably into normal sizes, more that the pounds, anywy! Way to go...keep up the good work ;-) How are your kitties? Punkin gained 0.4 oz when we were gone, since the young man fed 3/4 can versus the instructed 1/4 can. She had a ball, I bet. We have started chasing her down the hallway of our condo, a new fun exercise that my daughter started with her and she loves it!!

eating healthy

Tuesday, August 07, 2007

a friend of mine sent me this e-mail and i thought that i would share it with all of you who read my blog!!LOL

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my yearly physical. My blood
pressure was high, my cholesterol was high, I'd gained some weight, and I didn't
feel so hot. My doctor said eating right doesn't have to be complicated and it
would solve my physical problems. He said just think in colors; Fill your plate
with bright colors; greens, yellows, reds etc.

I went right home and ate an entire bowl of M&M's and sure enough, I felt better
immediately. I never knew eating right could be so easy.

hahahah thats funny.. my father would have loved this one. he has fed his dogs M&m's for years.. you can't open the candy dish without them charging you. I know most people think chocolate will kill dogs but ll of my parents dogs have ate it and they all live to rip old ages. They had a poodle who ate mini Mar's bars.. if you even looked at his candy he would act like he was going to bite you.

I want another cat! There are kittens on freecycle right now.. but we have 3 now and Betty is 14yo.. she would be too mean to a kitten..I still want one tho..
