Love this quote sent from 68Anne: Motivational tip
"Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out. ~John Wooden " Sort of like "if someone gives you lemons . . ."
Being positive and Grateful takes up all the room that used to be occupied by the negative/naysayer. I am Grateful for "this new day" "water" electricity" "sunshine" - always something to be Grateful for. Thanks - and have an amazing day! emoticon

1st book published, Johann Guttenberg's Bible in 1452! Kind of fun seeing what Google doesn't find to celebrate each day!

Love is the Key 8/8/13

Thursday, August 08, 2013

I read a July 16th blog titled "Weight really doesn't matter" this morning, listed as inspirational. Reading on to the many comments afterward, most on a positive note, some on a negative note, I see a common thread that plagues a significant number of people. When someone is happy in their own skin and feeling healthy, some like to point fingers at that person and preach that the person's weight is "not healthy," which usually translates into "not in the media accepted range." Yes, as a society, many weigh more than we did three or four decades ago, and there are many factors contributing to this. But as each person journeys through life, being happy with oneself is very important. Why try to burst someone else's bubble?

Bravo! That's the best thing about this site...lifting people up, encouragement and lots of Congrats! When we build other people up, we rise even higher ourselves!! Great blog!

I agree.... We need to determine for ourselves wht is a healthy weight and stop trying to conform to someone else's numbers.

I do so agree with you. Lift people up, for crying out loud, don't be suppressing them!
I'd rather have someone on my shoulders that I put there than someone under my feet.

Good site for walking information 8_7_13

Here's a good site for calculating heart rate, figuring caloric burn by heart rate, and can be used to help set goals: I'm glad I found it finally. emoticon
