I read a July 16th blog titled "Weight really doesn't matter" this morning, listed as inspirational. Reading on to the many comments afterward, most on a positive note, some on a negative note, I see a common thread that plagues a significant number of people. When someone is happy in their own skin and feeling healthy, some like to point fingers at that person and preach that the person's weight is "not healthy," which usually translates into "not in the media accepted range." Yes, as a society, many weigh more than we did three or four decades ago, and there are many factors contributing to this. But as each person journeys through life, being happy with oneself is very important. Why try to burst someone else's bubble?

    I agree.... We need to determine for ourselves wht is a healthy weight and stop trying to conform to someone else's numbers.

    I do so agree with you. Lift people up, for crying out loud, don't be suppressing them!
I'd rather have someone on my shoulders that I put there than someone under my feet.
