Day 42: Trying Again... Again

At least I'm only losing a week each time I do this. I haven't completely fallen off the map. But I am failing to do all that I know I need to do to lose this weight that I've had since I was 13. I know that if I can take 2 steps forward for every 1 step back that I've been taking that I can meet my goals.

The motivational things I was reading say that goals have to be defined. My goals this week are to exercise 6 of 7 days. To drink 8 glasses of water daily and to track each and every thing I eat. It's like a Fast Break again, but I can't seem to keep healthy habits going.

I just have to keep it together today to make it to tomorrow. I don't feel like doing much of anything. I'm taking the boys to a carnival this afternoon and that should keep me busy. It's getting other things done today that might be more of a challenge.

My motivation is at a low. I fall off for a couple of days and it's so hard to get back on. I have to make a real effort today to do what I know I can do. I'm going to exercise, I'm going to drink water and I'm actually going to eat the lunch I've been carrying around for a couple of days.

It's Wednesday and I don't feel like I've been maintaining the good habits I've been trying to follow. So, today I really, really need to track my food intake. I think I've been staying within my range but I'm not sure. Second, I need to drink that water. I have a 25 day streak going and it's been spotty for the last week.. Third, I need to get exercise in today. I have a 5 week streak of 90 minutes a month to maintain. I can meet that goal in I get back on track with exercise. Plus, it's good for me.
