Day 47

At some point yesterday I made the decision to just give up. I'm not sure when that was. I think it was around lunch time and I chose not to track my meal, followed by a hectic afternoon and the craving for something crunchy that I gave in to. On the positive side, my crunchy snack was baked rice crisps (so moderately healthier than potato chips). On the negative I ate more that a serving or two.

But... today is a new day and I can start fresh.

I have a challenge for tomorrow. My husband signed my boys up for skating right in the middle of when I'd do my exercising. I'll have to learn how to use my PVR for two reasons today. One, to keep them off my back while I take over the TV and two, because there's a show on tonight that I'd miss because it starts when I get off work.


Day 46: Ouch

I fell at work yesterday. I just missed the step and went flying, prescriptions flying everywhere and a huge audience. Then my boss asked me 4 times during the day if I were OK. Mostly hurt my pride, but it also feels like I've given myself a charlie horse on my right calf. I hope it works itself out. Better this morning then when I went to bed last night.

Almost made it. I fell asleep on the coach before I could finish my last few things for the day. That's OK though. I'm feeling pretty good about yesterday. I may have overdone things a little, hence the falling asleep on the couch.

Today I'm back at work, and I know it's going to be a busy day. I hope to get at least a little exercise in today. Maybe just the Kinect but I'll see how I feel after supper. Beyond that I have a few chores I want to get done. I don't want to fall asleep on the coach again.

On Sunday I said I was ready to try again... again. So far so good. Yesterday I made all my goals again, and I even had a little treat! I have one more day off in this 4 day weekend. I just really want a positive start to the week so I can carry through to the weekend.

Day 43

It's like Day 1 all over again. I rededicated myself to Sparkpeople and so far so good. I got everything accomplished yesterday that I wanted to. Today I have to keep up the trend. Should be easy enough. It's a holiday so I'm still home to get the laundry done. I do have to take the kids out in the afternoon but I think I can fit everything in before we go.
