I love that my favorite weekend activity of riden horse with my family burns some calories. I am still haven alot of trouble stay'n in my calorie goal for the day.. I also need to try and find the time and energy to get more activity in at night to help burn even more calories.

I need some suggestions. I have three kids at home ages 8-3 and I need to get more calories burned after I get home from work...

I need some fast snack ideas too that are going to aid in my goals as well. I want so bad to get this weight lost for my daughters 9th bday in May!!!!

Fast snack ideas: cottage cheesee (they make individual packages now) good for protein. Get the 2% it tastes creamy. I also crave saltier foods more than sweet foods sometimes and I'm not sure why but this helps with that.

Greek yogurt (also individual packages).

Weight watchers, individual greek yogurt ice cream. They have all different flavors and this will help get you by when you have a dessert craving.

Special K has some great crackers that you can have like 28 of them per serving. I usually count them out on the weekends or mornings and put them in a bag so I don't just eat over what I am suppose to.

Apples are always fast. Great in fiber. (you will notice yourself more regular if you know what I really helps me feel less bloated)

Thin bagels. I use them to make sandwhiches, by themselves with a little bit of cream cheese, sometimes I will make mini bagel pizzas with them.

Man, it has been really hard for me to watch my caloric intake. Also, it doesn't seem to help that I am walking in the evenings.. I so want to lose this extra weight I have gain in the last several years. It will help my heart condition and make me have more energy and feel better for my children.

Be patient with yourself. it takes time. Trying incorporating more water, fruits, veggies and scale back on high calorie treats and it will help. Walking is also a great start. Welcome to sparkpeople and good luck. You can do it, just take baby steps to that you form solid habits.

Stay pound at a time. Walking is the BEST exercise, hands down.
