So today I went to my first water aerobics class. It was a lot of fun. It appears I am the youngest lady there. They all called me the kid. One little lady told me that she just turned 94 and she had a hysterectomy about 4 weeks ago and she is not slowing down. She is a true inspiration.
I had the lady laughing , when I had a problem putting the weight on my foot and almost drowned myself........Guess I got to practice that more often. But I got a great 60 minutes work out.
Today was also my anniversary , we have been married 27 years. Fixed us some great Breakfast and Lunch. Just enjoying each others company and went for a walk with the dogs tonight.

I had a very productive day today. Had the house to myself. Absolutely loved it. Weigh in today, lost 24 lbs so far. Wooohoo . GO ME!!!!!!!
Did clean the whole house, laundry done and rode my stationary bike while watching my shows this afternoon. I cleaned out my dresser, had to get rid of some of my too big clothes to make room for some new ones. I actually enjoy shopping for clothes now, that I am about 4sizes smaller. I guess I am donating the big ones to the local Hospice Thrift Shop.
My son called today and told me that he was dis-enrolled from the nuclear power program in the Navy, and now he is going to be a cook. They send him through training for almost 2 years and he passed all the courses , but they claim he showed lack of interest. What a waste of money and time, but then they complain that they don't have enough nuclear power techs. The Goverment at work. Wow , it just blows my mind.

Today, I promise I will not quit.
I pledge that no matter, how many ups and
downs I pass through,
I will continue on my journey.
I pledge to make a NEW START today,
and forgive myself for my past,
and to stop being so critical of myself.
I pledge to take control of myself,
To Stop making excuses,
And stop blaming other people or situations.
I pledge to treat myself as I would my Best
Because that is who I am.
I pledge to stay in the race
and to be a WINNER!

This weekend I decided to chill out a little. Today my daughter ( she is 11) and I are going to watch the entire Twilight series, just us girls . She is my biggest fan. It is going to be fun, the guys are painting my father-in-laws house.
Made Chef Meg's not so southern style biscuits and gravy, it came out alright, but had to tweak the spices a little. Tonight we will have Puerto Rican and beans, with a few healthy changes. I have been getting more adventurous with my cooking and substitutions. I am using more and more vegetables and less meat. The only meat we have is either chicken, fish and sometimes a Hamburger or Hot Dog. This is really a good life style change and it is getting so much easier. My husband loves it, because it helps him to control his Diabetes better.
Next week , I am getting us a annual membership to the pool here, so we will be exercising in water more. They also offer water aerobics and I will check that out.
