Tomorrow I am going to be getting facet injections under general anesthesia. This is the procedure where they kill the nerves in my neck. I have had this done twice before, but they're supposed to be better at it here. Please pray with me for good results.

I, myself have NEVER gotten any sleep in a hospital or clinic so I am not surprised that you haven't either! Either they are too noisy, or are in the room "checking" on you, or drawing blood, or doing something else! so how can you sleep? And of course that feeds into your migraines! What a mess! I hope that the procedure works. They tried to do that for my sciatia pain and I couldn't tolerate it. I guess you do what you have to. Call me when you feel like it! I would love to talk to you! Thoughts and prayers being sent your way. Hope all goes well. What is the special migraine diet? My migraines are really getting bad so I am looking for any new ideas.

It has been quite a long and exhausting day, but I am glad I am here. All the doctors and staff seem very competent and caring. The plan they have laid out for me will not be easy, but it addresses my needs.
While I am decoding they are giving me other drugs to help me through the withdrawal and keep me as comfortable as possible. I have a migraine right now and they are giving me nonnarcotic IV meds over a long period of time to break this migraine and hopefully the cycle. It's still too early to know the long term care plan, but now I have faith that this just may be the answer I was searching for.
Gotta catch some zzzzzzzzzzs. Tomorrow is a very busy day.

Just stopped over to check up on you and wow, things have been happening in your life... last time I checked, you had had a migraine for over a week. I am glad to see that you have found something that promises relief from this pain. So sorry to hear of your plight! Maybe it's the old "it gets worse before it gets better" thing. You haven't been there even a week yet...and you've been having the migraines for years...right? 
that you are still in that place yeah hospital are anything but fun Hang in there Doctors I am sure are doing there best 
took anest 3 tries to get my vein, then after that 3 tries to get blood test. i had really low bp too throughout my stay
to no more pain in 2011
