Almost Halfway There

Monday, May 16, 2011

On my ticker I am almost to the halfway mark. After I had put in my beginning weight on spark I had actually gone up higher than that and hit the 200 mark so if that were the beginning weight I would BE at my halfway mark!!! That is ok though I almost there!!! Once I meet my goal I will see how I feel and whether or not I want to go a little lower!!!

Super excited and can't wait until weigh ins!!!

Week 1 Challenge Day 1

Friday, January 07, 2011

Our first challenge as part of Biggest Loser 15 was to:

N-Nutrition...stay within calorie ranges and take in 5 serving of freggies.

E-Exercise.....Get at least 20 minutes of exercise

W- Write, blog, journal. Write what you eat all day...every little nibble and then blog about it and give yourself a grade.

As for how I have done here goes.....

N-0 points....I did not stay in my calories ranges. I went to the mall today and was going to get a char grilled chicken salad from Chik-fil-a but the little man had other ideas. He loves the noodles at a Japanese place in the mall and specifically asked for them so I caved and had teriyaki chicken over rice. Not sure what the calories were on this but I am sure it was way more than I should have had and estimated it rather high. Although I only ate half of my meal it was still not healthy!

E-5 points......I got 45 minutes of exercise! The family and I did Just Dance on the Wii for 45 minutes. I stayed going the full 45 minutes and the other 3 switched off and played against me.

W-5 points....I wrote down everything I ate even though it was not what I should have eaten and I am a little embarrassed about it and I even wrote it in this blog!

So for today I get 10 points twords this weekend challenge. I give myself a grade of 60! I can do much better!!! Tomorrow is Dylan's birthday and I am going to do my very best to stay within calorie ranges in spite of pizza and cookie company cookie! I am going to need strength for that!!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful night!!

January Goals!

Friday, December 31, 2010

Going to take this year one month at a time!! Here are a few of my goal for the month a January! Made add a few more as the month goes on and I see something that I need to work on!

1. Minimum of 30 minutes of cardio for a minimum of 5 days a week. Would like to do 45 minutes to an hour 6 days a week.

2. Track all calories taken in.

3.Stay within calorie ranges.

4. One glass of tea a day with dinner. Water for the rest of the day.

5. 8 glasses of water a day.

6. One coke a week if that!!

7. Lose 1.5 to 2lbs. a week

8. Eat out once a week and make it as healthy as possible!!

9.Strength train 3 days a week. This will be hard for me! I would much rather do cardio then ST. but I know that it is important I do this!!

10. Log onto Spark everyday!! Should be easy for me because even though I have not been strict with my exercise and eating I have still managed to log in consistently which is what I feel like has kept me from slipping completely off track!

I know I can make this happen! I am hoping this is my year to meet my goal but like I said I will take it one month, one week and one day at a time!!! Good luck everyone lets do this in 2011!!!

1 month at a time is a great idea! If you can do something consistently for a month it more easily becomes a habit!
