What a bad few days I did lose a little weight and enrolled in my first 5k for 16 years for charity but then doing my morning workout instead of having a smoke, as I've found the exercise more fun than the smoke, I managed to hyperextended my knee and now I'm in so much pain it's crazy. I'm hoping I can walk on it tomorrow as I would like to do my walk to the school which is about 5k (3.3 miles) ish. I'll have to see what tomorrow brings. I know I'm being impatient, but it's feels like I'm being lazy and not forefilling my goals.


I feel like I'm letting myself and my supporters down

    Hope your knee is feeling better today. You aren't letting anyone down (including yourself) if you take time to heal. Rest the knee and in a very short time you'll be back at it!

what a week

this week has been so busy I have hardly had time to do anything. I have had to go take the car to the garage and then I had to walk to get the bus, then overtime at work and sort the kids out at school. Then yesterday I had to travel down to luton and take my grandad out of dinner. Glad that I can enjoy a relax this evening. I lost a little bit more wieght this week and I'm in a size 12-14 (UK) to so I'm slowly getting there.

I weighed myself on Tuesday and I had to ask someone what was going on as my weight had gone down but my fat mass % had gone up!!! BMI has gone down to.

I have also decided to do 5K race for life this year which will raise money for cancer research UK to help me as much as them my line of thinking is that it motivates me to continue with my fittness and help someone else while I'm at it.

    The 5k is worrying me I've not done anything like this for 16-17 years so a little stressed but nothing I can't handle. Just gentle increasing my cardio to make things a little easier.

5k race! Awesome. I ran my first 5k 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun. I was a bit lighter back then and a little more fit but I'd certainly like to do it again. I hope you have a great experience and beat your estimated time.

Kids who'd have them!!!!
So stressed kids driving me around the bend! So feel like eating loads of chocolate and ice-cream. From 7am till 11pm my kids seem to have too much energy.

I want 5 mins to chill but up and down the stairs for me tonight emoticon

Well after the kids chilled I was still stressed, so on went jillan micheals fittness game on the kinnect and level 1 complete and then another 20 min zumba fittness I feel calm and relaxed. (Thank him upstairs for xbox kinnect and fittness games). Now gonna sit, watch crime channel and have a cuppa.

Not worried about tomorrow (weighing in day), I know I've lost inches and muscles are being used that have been forgotten for such a long time if I have stayed the same this week it's not that I have failed it's my body adjusting to the new routine.

people are noticing

Well, I've managed my first 2 weeks!!
I have dropped 2 dress sizes! As I was at work to today I had 2 customers comment on how well I looked, I thanked them and grinned from ear to ear, not only am I feeling good people other than me are noticing that the double chin and the tummy are leaving.
Had to go shopping to buy smaller clothes this week too it's great can't wait to keep going.
Sooooo happy!!!

the End of my second week

Well I've lost a little weight, and I've had more exercise in the last 2 weeks than I have since I played sport in school!!

I have been a little stressed this week with everything going on, but instead of going for the chocolate, I decided to change the habit of a lifetime and exercise.

Still enjoying it and having loads of fun!
