First day back to work!!

Monday, November 17, 2008

I am so not looking forward to this. Mondays are our longest days and I am not ready to go back. They only good thing about work is the structure. I know I will get my water in, I know my food will be planned, and I know I won't over eat. Ok, well maybe it's a good thing I am going back. Wish me luck.

WooHoooo!!!

Friday, November 14, 2008

I got off my behind and went to the gym today. WooHoo!!!! I went to the movies with my best friend and the gym was right next to the theater. No you know, I would have felt so guilty if I hadn't gone. I walked on the treadmill for a total of 62 mins. I started with an incline of 4 and worked my way up to 7(total distance 1053), I started at 2.0 speed and ended on 3.1. I walked a total of 3.15miles. Drum roll please........................... I burned a total of 535 calories. emoticon emoticonI felt like Rocky as he ran up the stairs. I can still hear the music in my ears. I am already looking forward to Monday's workout. If I can find someone to watch my daughter I am going to try and go this weekend. It feels so great to work out!!!

Reality check!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Ok, so I had a real reality check. I walked past the mirror in my computer room and i saw this image. I have been half ass working out since I have been on vacation. When I seen this pic, it made me know I had to get off of my butt. Yes, I had just finished eating, but there was no excuse. I am not going to gain this weight back, I am going to loose even more. I AM A DONE GIRL!!!! I am going to get my butt in gear.

Those mirror reflections get you every time. The flip side is that when your body starts to look the way you envision, those mirror reflections make you say emoticon!!!!!!!

Those mirrors and reflections along with photos will kick you back into the REAL world - I know that to be true! hang in there and keep the photo in a place that will remind you of your focus!

I know what you mean. I hate seeing myself in the mirror. I've been on Sparkpeople for about a year and lost 24 pounds, then slacked off and gained 10 back. I started back and have already lost 6 of that. I'm gonna keep looking in the mirror, cause that will keep me exercising, cause I don't like what I see!

OMG!!!!!!

Friday, November 07, 2008

Why in the sam hell didn't someone warn me about the pain I was going to experience after my first day of the 30 day Shred!!! When I woke up this morning I felt like I was hit by a mack truck! I felt it coming while I was at work, but I tired to put it out of my mind. But oh boy, after my drive home which takes 30-35 mins, Houston, I knew there was a problem! I could hardly get out of my car. I was so afraid to lay down and go to sleep because I would have to wake up. A fly on the wall would have been cracking up seeing me get out of bed. I'm glad no one else had to see! Even atfer all of this, I am so glad I did it and on my way to do day number 2!!! God will not let it kill me, so it will make me stronger. Have a great day!!!

LOL! This was me the first time I tried it. OMG, my legs hurt so bad. I try to do the workout once or twice a week. Why do I torture myself like this. I know how I am going to feel the next day. I just try to switch up my routines because otherwise I will do the same thing day in and day out. I am determined to get to the second part, but I know it will take me a while. Stick with it. I feel better knowing you guys are going through it too.

See, I was thinking about getting this, but was worried about that very thing! I tried the Billy Blank's Bootcamp dvd and it did the same thing to me...geez, why can't they invent an exercise that gets the job done without the pain? LOL

I DID IT!!!!!!!

Thursday, November 06, 2008

I am so proud of myself today. I kept telling myself I was going to get the 30 day shred DVD I kept hearing everyone talking about. Over the weekend I looked to no avail. Well after I went to vote I looked at the wonderful Walmart and after searching and looking behind DVD's I found it!!!! And today I did level 1. I stopped a few *cough cough* I mean several times, but I kept at it. I hope by next week I will be able to finish without stopping. I am going to have a wonderful day!!!!
