Insanity Day 2

So I didn't have enough time this morning to fit in the whole video but I did 25 minutes. I definitely felt like my legs were tree trunks for a couple of the moves but I just did the best I could and kept moving.

Tomorrow is a super busy day and I'm not sure where I am going to fit in my Insanity but I am determined to keep going so I will find a way. It's nice to feel muscles aching again.

Insanity Workout

My back has been feeling much better lately so I have started exercising again. Today I tried the Day 1 Insanity workout. It has been a loooong time since I did cardio to that extent and it was only the first day, I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring.

Contemplating Fitbit One

I have been thinking about the Fitbit One. Anyone have any thoughts on the product? I'm really interested in the sleep tracking function.

    Hello there. I had purchased the Fitbit one before and had a few problems with it. I think there was something wrong with it. At the time the $99. price tag was, in my opinion, not worth the hassle. I took it back and got a refund. A few months later they introduced the Fitbit Zip at a lower price (about $59). I gave it another shot and I cannot be one day without it. It may not have all of the features as the Fitbit one but it has all the information I need to give me the motivation to keep on going. Including the fact that I can share it on Sparkpeople... Hope this helps...

    Love my Fitbit One. I feel that it really helps push me to work harder. Yesterday I was at 7500 steps and although I was tired I wanted to see that number go up to over 10,000 because that is my personal fitness commitment per day.

So I took a short walk in the neighborhood to get in the extra steps. Before my fitbit I would have said that I was tired and I would have sat down and chilled.....

I also like to climb flights of stairs and the one is very accurate at counting them

  I asked about this on my blog a while ago. Feel free to read the responses I got there if you like. I haven't bought one yet myself. Like Tatter3 said it seems like it would be fun, but it is cash that I just don't feel like I have right now.

    I have the original FitBit and love it - worth every penny to me. It really keeps me accountable for how much I move throughout the day. I have a desk job and the FitBit reminds me to get up and walk, as much as possible/when possible, during the course of my day. I use it for the Sleep Tracking as well - it's actually very interesting.

The team FitBit Users Unite (I see you're on the team) has great feedback.

    I just got one for Christmas and I like it alot. I too wanted to track the sleep. It comes with a wrist band that is comfortable and you put the fitbit in the band on your non dominate hand. I think it works pretty well for showing when you wake.

Staying on track!

I have had a few lapses since I started starting over but I am back on track and working on "mindful eating" and making a conscious decision about the food I am putting in my body. As I type it is taking all I have not to run over to the counter a few feet from desk at work and grab a handful of caramel corn. Instead, I will get my fix from some crunchy celery dipped in a sweet FF raspberry viniagrette. Hope that does the trick!

    if that works for you fantastic. I find if i say no to everything all the time i go off the deep end. so i eat that carmel popcoen in moderation and add it into my daily calories. good luck

Starting over again...again

Currently at my heaviest weight (outside of pregnancy).

I went to see a dietician last week, she started me on a healthy eating plan. I am doing PT for a lower back muscle strain, hopefully I can start exercising soon. emoticon
