Days 8 & 9/1000 Exercise Streak, EASTER weekend.
One complete week down and Sat. started another week.
Sat April 23 - I did praise mime and kids practice. 20 minutes total.
Sun April 24 - A combo of walking times. 11 minutes total.
Okay, this week I hope to do a bit more as far as time is concerned.
YAY for fitness and moving that body!!!

Good Friday was good! Days 6 & 7 of Streaking! YAY more exercise! (April 21st & 22nd)
Day 6 - Thursday - Walking and Stairs. Total 10 minutes.
Day 7 - Good Friday - Jogging on sand & Walking as the ocean water hit my feet! Total 30 min.
Well, Praise the Lord, this has been a Miracle Week for me! I did 7 days straight of some form of fitness! Was unheard of...but NOT anymore!!!
Well, It's 7 minutes after 12 midnight, so I'm excited about seeing how I continue my streak tomorrow/today!
I'll upload a picture soon...just a bit tired, so check back again by the beginning of next week! Resurrection Weekend is a full one!

So on Wednesday (yesterday) I finished 5 total days of SP's Exercise Streak. WOW 5 whole days!
But when I stepped on the scale this morning I saw that the scale went up instead of down.
As disappointing as that is, I will NOT stop streaking!
So that's it for this blog.
Oh, I walked to bible study on Day 5. That means I'm a lil closer to Nojoqui Falls!
Today is Day 6, not sure what I'll do. But I'll do something!

So I'm trying to have fun and keep this exercise daily streak fresh...it's going to be 1,000 days for Pete's sake! LOL
The 1st fun thing that I'm going to try are my Virtual Walking Trips! So whenever I walk (which won't be every day, as I want to do exercise DVDs & other forms of fitness) I will count those miles to get me to a virtual destination that I want to revisit or that I hope to go to one day!
I got the idea from a SparkTeam Page. I began my journey on Monday, April 18th, Day 3 of my Daily Exercise Streak Challenge with SparkGuy. So follow me on my trips if you like. I have placed the info on my sparkpage under "My Program". But may do blogs as I'm able to write more!
1st Destination: Nojoqui Falls, located in Santa Barbara County. This will be a 30 mile trip for me.
On yesterday I did 0.4 miles to the falls!
Here's a bit of info on why I chose Nojoqui Falls.
Well, the 1st time I went was back in the late 90's with my Residential Life staff from University of California, Santa Barbara. It was beautiful. Once you get there there is a 15-20 minute hike to the waterfall. And there was water that day, so nice. But I have seen pictures where there is even more. In the mid 2000's I went back with my boyfriend a& although the drive and hike were nice, being an impromptu trip, there wasn't hardly any water, but just being there with him was enchanting & romantic! Plus quite a workout! LOL
So here are some pictures. Maybe some day you'll be able to travel there too!

So beautiful even before you approach the falls. And yes, it's def a hike!
Like I said, sometimes the falls arn't flowing with much water. It was like this when my bf & I went. But we had eachother so that was the beauty on that day. Hopefully we'll get to go back soon!
And sometimes it's overflowing.
So I hope you enjoyed the photos. And maybe you'll be able to do a virtual walk from your home or even better, maybe one day, you'll be able to feel the waters from Nojoqui Falls!!!

Day 4 and I just finished 10 minutes with fitness expert Jennifer Galardi, doing "The Simple Slimmer". It's one of her 10 minute Fat Blasting Dance Mixes. I watched instantly from netflix, and did it for the 1st time AND I got it in before 10am WOW!!!
And I am sooooo THIRSTY!!!
Day 3 which was yesterday, Monday, April 18, 2011. I went walking outside for 20 minutes!!!
I put on a heavy hoodie, grabbed my trash bag and my empty 1 gal. water container and was out the door! Dumped the trash and proceeded to the corner market down the street! I thought that I might walk back the long way, but opted to just go the way I came, as my chest let me know that I am not completely recovered from this cold/virus!
But the fact that I went outside and walked, that I was still on my streak on day 3...well, that just made my day and made up for the eeky feeling in my chest!
So for the one who never did 5 straight days of exercise...the one who's trying to do as many of the 1,000 days of fitness with SparkGuy...WELL, HECK, I'm feeling pretty darn good having completing Day 4 in a row! YAY ME!!!!!
So if I can do this with a headache and still feeling under the weather, I should be able to really DO THIS!!!
Well, all the best for my fellow Sparkfriends still in this streak. I'm following up on you all, even when I don't get a chance to write something of encouragement. Know that I appreciate you and am right with you!
