Just thought of a weight loss reward, Custom Jeans...think I'll make a list now! ;o)

Hey all,

So I'm browsing youtube and came across someone talking about the custom jeans they just got in the mail from India. Well, I went to the website, and yes! I think I might want to order some...when I lose some weight!

I once bought a pair of Brazilian jeans (with one leg painted with pictures of flowers and a lady bug), I weighed about 130-135 pounds at that time. I have since lost these pants (I told my niece I'd give them to her when she became a teen, now she's an adult) LOL They've been missing THAT LONG! Anyways, they cost me well OVER $100 bucks, so when I saw that that these were custom and cheaper UNDER $100 (like $50+)!!!!! Well, I began to think that I'd like to design some jeans of my own, when I lose some weight! And then I'll paint my own picture on one of the legs!

Okay, sooooooo, how about going from 207 pounds to about 170 lbs...hmmmm yeah, maybe somewhere around 170 or 160 lol Guess I need to think about the rewards thing a lil more! LOL
But hey, I think I'm a lil closer to having one of those charts like my fellow SparkFriends, ie.

Get to 197 lbs.......Get a SparkGoodie, from me!!!
Get to 187 lbs.......Get a Glen Ivy Day & Club Mud fun.
Get to 177 lbs.......Get package at BurkeWilliams.
Get to 167 lbs.......Get Custom Jeans :o)

Get to 137 lbs.......Get myself to Sea World, San Deigo!

Well, check this blog out again and see if I've added other rewards for reaching the pounds. And yes, I know that it's good to have rewards for meeting other goals as well, like exercise ones, cleaning ones, eating ones, etc.

So what type of rewards did/do you make (or want to make)?

    That's a great idea. I think I'm going to start that. I like the idea of painting or decorating my own jeans. That's a great idea too. My daughter is an artist but she's not using it. I'm going to put her to work in a couple of months. lol. Thanks for always coming up with some great ideas. I never wore jeans until 2006 or later. lol Didn't like the way all that weight looked in them. But now I love to wear jeans. Praise the Lord!

  I really enjoyed your rewards list. I have one that I just started... it includes massages, pedicures, hair color/highlight, a watch, a necklace... but I really like the idea of custom jeans. Of course, I used to have food as rewards, but that's not such a great idea for me lol. I really like your idea of having them documented and associated with actual weight goals, so they aren't random. emoticon

    WOW! I'm STRUGGLING to find jeans that fit me and 100 bucks is WELL worth it. I wear jeans all the time. I'm so sick of the tight in the hips, big in the waist fit. UGH!
GOOD REWARD. I may have to look into this!

I don't have any rewards set in stone. When I'm out I'll grab something and think..well this is for losing weight. HA. Maybe I should be a little more specific. I may have given myself too many rewards :-)

Let me know how the Hot Yoga turns out! And I really like your high heels one, mostly because you'll be able to wear them comfortably!

    I like that idea! As you lose, you'll start being confident in your clothes, so why not a new fashion forward piece? I like it. What's the website? I'm kind of curious myself...

My rewards are a spa day, a makeup session, starting hot yoga, new heels (since I was getting too heavy to wear them comfortably) and then pulling out old wardrobe pieces I sadly never got to wear because I gained so much weight so quickly. That last bit will put me with a whole new wardrobe for my weight loss which I'm excited about.

Well, my streak is over! After 2 weeks! YAY I did 2 WEEKS!!! One step at a time!!!

Saturday, yesterday, would have been the start of Day 15 and week 3. However, I only did about 7 minutes worth of exercise, so I didn't make the 10 minute mark.

That's okay though, as I'm EXTREMELY thrilled that I even made it 2 days, 5 days, 1 week to 2 full weeks of moving my body! Awesome stuff for me to just get my body moving in some way!

Today is the start of the Spark to Summer Bootcamp (or something like that LOL). I did Day 1 last week & got through it okay, so I think I should be okay to do it on the actual start day, which is today!

So thanks to my SparkFriends for your support. Praise God for the strength to have gotten this far! And YAY ME!!!!!

Week 2 (Days 8-14/1000) Updates:

Sat April 23rd - 20 minutes total. I did praise mime and kids practice.

Sun April 24th - 11 minutes total. A combo of walking times.

Mon April 25th - Can't remember...but I did do something! LOL

Tues April 26th - 10 min. Kickboxing w/ Coach Nicole Day 1 of Spring Into Shape for Summer

Wed April 27th - 10 min. "Move Your Body" Beyonce video 2Xs. For Michelle Obama's campaign.
20 min. Walking Costco.

Thurs April 28th - 10 min. Walking, Ralphs.

Fri April 29th - 15 min. Walking Unity S.

    Looks like the hardest part of this streak is posting. I tried to claim the streak on the start page, I check it off but it shows zero.

Days 8 & 9/1000 Exercise Streak, EASTER weekend.

One complete week down and Sat. started another week.

Okay, this week I hope to do a bit more as far as time is concerned.

Good Friday was good! Days 6 & 7 of Streaking! YAY more exercise! (April 21st & 22nd)

Day 6 - Thursday - Walking and Stairs. Total 10 minutes.

Day 7 - Good Friday - Jogging on sand & Walking as the ocean water hit my feet! Total 30 min.

Well, Praise the Lord, this has been a Miracle Week for me! I did 7 days straight of some form of fitness! Was unheard of...but NOT anymore!!!

Well, It's 7 minutes after 12 midnight, so I'm excited about seeing how I continue my streak tomorrow/today!

I'll upload a picture soon...just a bit tired, so check back again by the beginning of next week! Resurrection Weekend is a full one!
