Day 4 and I just finished 10 minutes with fitness expert Jennifer Galardi, doing "The Simple Slimmer". It's one of her 10 minute Fat Blasting Dance Mixes. I watched instantly from netflix, and did it for the 1st time AND I got it in before 10am WOW!!!
And I am sooooo THIRSTY!!!
Day 3 which was yesterday, Monday, April 18, 2011. I went walking outside for 20 minutes!!!
I put on a heavy hoodie, grabbed my trash bag and my empty 1 gal. water container and was out the door! Dumped the trash and proceeded to the corner market down the street! I thought that I might walk back the long way, but opted to just go the way I came, as my chest let me know that I am not completely recovered from this cold/virus!
But the fact that I went outside and walked, that I was still on my streak on day 3...well, that just made my day and made up for the eeky feeling in my chest!
So for the one who never did 5 straight days of exercise...the one who's trying to do as many of the 1,000 days of fitness with SparkGuy...WELL, HECK, I'm feeling pretty darn good having completing Day 4 in a row! YAY ME!!!!!
So if I can do this with a headache and still feeling under the weather, I should be able to really DO THIS!!!
Well, all the best for my fellow Sparkfriends still in this streak. I'm following up on you all, even when I don't get a chance to write something of encouragement. Know that I appreciate you and am right with you!

So Sunday is my Day 2 of Streaking!
Still sick but I knew I had to continue and not miss a day. Actually I think I was going to skip today, but I saw SP's facebook status and REALLY wanted to click the "like" button to say that I did 10+ minutes of fitness. So I closed my laptop, sat up a little bit on the couch, and started working my arms. I did a different move for each minute (I watched the clock change on the dvr LOL).
Anyhow, boy were my arms hurting!
10 minutes of arm exercises today.

Okay so I choose to start & look forward to the end...how many days will I be able to do???
What am I speaking of? Why SPARKGUY's recent blog/challenge of course!
I'm starting an experiment. I will try to do a 1,000-day streak of 10+ fitness minutes. I once did a 700-day streak that directly led to the creation of SparkPeople. Today is day 1 with a bike ride around the neighborhood. Hit like if you'll do at least some of the days with me! If enough people consistently do 10+ minutes most days (not the 1,000-day streak part), it will change the world!
More details to come...
So there you have it! How many days will I do, I don't know. But I do know that if I get through 2 days, 5 days, 7 days, a month...hey I'm on my way!
Well, as some of you know I've been down with a cold or virus of some sort for a few days now. But yesterday, I couldn't resist and I vacuumed my place, cleaned out my fan and one of my windows...I couldn't help it! lol
So I will say that I had 15-30 minutes of housework on yesterday

Some may say that's not fitness...but let me tell you, if you could have seen the sweat pouring from my body, you'd change that notion! LOL
I'm still not at my best, but will try to piece together 10 minutes of some form of exercise for today & while I'm sick.
All the best to anyone else who's joining SparkGuy on this journey. For I'm excited that I will be in the race...10 minutes...just 10 minutes every day is an awesome thing to set my mind to.
I'll try to keep you updated. Will you try to do at least 10 minutes daily as well?

This is my new SparkPage Info. You know me, I like to do a blog, so whenever I change it, I can always have something to look back at! Oh but I did add a few more sentences here. Maybe I'll go back and add it to my page...I'll see!

MY destiny is set. One of God's promises & blessings. One of health, prosperity, grace, love, favor & more of His greatness!
How do/will I move forward? How do/will I run the race the right way for me? What do I need to do?
Diet this, Exercise that, everyone on SP is in the healthy race! I believe that as long as we are on this earth, we can learn & improve. But in reality, we all choose the depth & length of our growth & how hard we want to go at it! Just remember that each person's course will look a lil different, so don't try to be EXACTLY like the next person. It's okay to have a motivator or something/someone for an inspiration. But again, remember...We don't all run or walk the same, we're not the same height, weight...we don't have the same challenges or advantages...
So just do you boo, in a healthy way!!!
Yesterday I read a lesson in a book which included the 2 bible passages below. One of the things that stood out for me was that I need to TURN/Break, SET the journey/Advance, & GO! And that i must Make My Body My Slave, Instead of Being a Slave To My Body! Yes, my health is in need of a REVIVAL! Sometimes these things take a lil more time than we think it ought! lol :o)
the habit of not believing in myself & the ability that's still within me. From my idle times & giving in to not feeling well. Take time to Rest, it's OK & know that I'm getting better so look ahead & not behind!
