Okay I'm Just Thinking of My Fall Workout Schedule... it's hard to stick to a schedule, so without one I'm really lost. So this is a brainstorming blog of sorts!

Thursdays..... YMCA FUNDAMENTALS OF WELLNESS am & WALK TO CHOIR REHEARSAL
Fridays.....YMCA AQUA AREOBICS, FITTV SHOW, DVD: ZUMBA or BODYGOSPEL
Saturdays.....YMCA AQUA AREOBICS, FITTV SHOW, DVD: ZUMBA or BODYGOSPEL
Sundays.....BOUNCE ON MY MINI-TRAMPOPLINE & CHURCH (maybe walk)

I'm sooo excited! In about an hour I'll be sitting in an orientation for our local Cancer Center Walk/Run 6 Week Exercise program! It's every Tuesday evening with Personal Trainers & held outside along the route 5K (3.1 mi.) run or walk 10K (6.2 mi.) run. It should be great, as I'm told that people are on so many levels! "First-time exercisers, those seeking to get back in shape, cancer patients and survivors, more experienced athletes, and past event participants all welcome!"
I don't know if I'll do the actual walk in Oct. but My goal is to complete the exercise program!
I'll let you all know how things turn out! I think I'll train as though I'd do the 5K Walk. "Program includes weekly workouts on the course, support and coaching from trainers, and group camaraderie. "
Okay, time to get ready to go!

Hey there!! I'm thinking of Designing my own Beginners Bootcamp! Any suggestions?
It seems as though most of the bootcamps out there are packed with an excessive amount of work that I just can't successfully complete! Too packed, too demanding. And yes I know that's the purpose!
But why shouldn't those that may struggle a bit more and have a harder time at the commitment of health, because of HEALTH SETBACKS (our bodies are not up to par)...Why not have something a little different!?
So I think I'd like to put together a "Bootcamp to a Healthier Me for a True Beginner"!
I'd like to be about 15 pounds lighter by Thanksgiving & dare I say 20 lbs down by Christmas???!!!
So...any suggestions on how I can pull it together? What would you include if you could design your own bootcamp?

I'm Giving Myself 2 Gifts of Health, this 1st week of August 2010!!!
In the middle of writing in my SP Journal, I came up with the idea of giving myself 2 healthy gifts, and who doesn't like gifts!?!! Now it may seem like a challenge, but I'm calling it a gift! So feel free to join me, it's for the 1st week in August!
This is an excerpt from my SP Community Journal, "A Gift of Health July 2010 & Beyond.
"So today is the 1st of August & it's the beginning of the week, SundaY! So I started tracking in my book again. 6:30am Thyroid Med, 8am take vitals & have breakfast!
I had 2 scrambled eggs (prepared w/1 teaspoon of Grapeseed oil & 1 small pack of black pepper) for breakfast. Take morning meds about 9:30am (10 pills).
10am, Set out to do Body Gospel's Body Revival (33minutes) which would leave me about 30 minutes to get ready for church, but ended up only doing 19 minutes...my tummy wasn't feeling so good(& that's in addition to a tight pain that I've had since Sat. morning in my lift tri&bicep) ...yeah, so now my stomach is not doing so well, but I'll take a shower and see how I feel!
Oh yeah, so here's a brief update on what I've been doing.... ummmmm...well, actually not too much in terms of exercising and eating like I want to. But steps is what will keep me moving forward. So I have done things like wash dishes, take out a bag of trash, ...ummmmm...well...I've done some other stuff too, but I'll try to share later, on account of my tummy not feeling well, and me trying to get to church for 1st Sunday, communion.

So all the best as we begin August! I really do hope to get a tv workout and walking in everyday this week! That's my gift to myself for this 1st week of August!
1) Do a tv/dvd workout in the morning and walk for about 5 minutes when I come home!
2) I will also try to (no I shall) give myself a daily gift of veggies (if from the can I'll rinse them with H2O before cooking).
