There are 3 days before my 35th birthday!
Boy, oh boy, do I have some revamping to do!
The day after my birthday I will begin a Wellness program with Queen Afua and The City of Wellness. Each detox module is 21 days! I'm participating in the teleconference, as the center is located in New York!
I spoke with Queen Afua Wed. evening and was told to write down all of my goals for the program. Also, when I looked at SP's Stress Relief Team Challenge for today, Thursday, it was to write down goals and the details of how to get through them!
PERFECT TIMING!!! So, I thought I'd blog it...considering that I've neglected blogging since the 1st of the month!
My thoughts are to follow this program for about 3months worth of the 21 day detox program as I change my lifestyle! So here are goals for the Detox Program:
Live a more WHOLElistic Life!
Ultimately reduce my medications!
Lose ?? pounds in the next 3 months
Follow the Natural Living Program
Stronger relationship with God
Stronger relationship with Ja-Mes My love
Reduce the stress in my life by working on my reactions to various situations
Have a Clean, Clutter Free & Relaxing Home
There' an old James Cleveland song, "God Will Open Doors" I truley believe this! Even though my bloodwork results were less than what a celebration would call for...I'm glad that my Oncologist is working on trying adjustments! Although my ML is leaving for a few weeks in August...I believe that God will use the time to bring us both closer to Him and ultimately closer to eachother! Although my house is not reflective of what I would like to entertain in...I have visions of a relaxing retreat in my home!
Yes, God will open doors for me!!!!

Just what I needed for my birthday month, a great challenge or challenges!
Well, I am participating in 3 Challenges that sort of overlap (FitTV Team, SP's Stress Relief Team & Zumba Lovers Team).
My 1st Goal is to keep up with these challenges!
Listed below are 2 of these challenges. Having them here will help me to keep track in one place.
My 2nd is to not eat fast food or Liquor Store Snacks & really do well and stay committed to the 21 Day Detox Program. BodyMindSoul balance.
My 3rd goal is to have fun an really stay stress free and grow and learn more about what works for me by doing healthy things!

"Fit & Free 4 July Challenge!!!" FitTV Is For Me's Team Challenge
Let's revisit a great challenge from last year, with a few changes!
This month's challenge begins on Saturday, the 4th of July!!! Happy Independence Day to all!
This month's challenge is 4 fold:
*Starts on the 4th
*Just 4 you
*Goes for 4 weeks
*4 different goals
Exercise to at least one FitTV show each week.
I joined SP's Official Stress Relief Challenge Team!!
Saving a dollar a day and put it aside to buy myself something nice only with the money that was saved this month ($31.00).
It's my birthday this month and since I can't celebrate in person with you, please buy yourself a great gift for me!!! :o) And yes, nice things can be purchased for $31.00!!! Let us know at the end of the month how you celebrated my birthday with your SP savings :oD
4) GREEN CLAY PAMPER SESSIONS.
The last goal is 4 you. Chose something that is healthy, fit & freeing for you. Do one thing once a week or 4 different things over the month. Let us know so that we can support you in your efforts!!!

Looking Ahead SUMMER 2009:
Let's see, I would like to do a detox/cleansing sometime this summer...maybe in July (my b-day month)! I take so many medications that it would be a good thing I believe, although I don't know how affective it'll be since I still have to take the meds.
The summer pretty much consists of 2 full months so as June ends I'll prepare for a sunshining healthier July and August!
If anyone has suggestions on weight loss things that work for those with Hypothyroidism, Edema, and Congestive Heart Failure to name a few...please share!

WOW did you know that SP now has Vlog access now!!! WOW, it's so nice to see the progression of this site over the years!
Well, here's what I wrote (with a few extra sentences) to myself when I laid out 100 SparkPoints to give myself a Sparkin Rose Petal Foot Bath. And whosoever (you know I read th Bible with this word, right) reads this blog, take out time to not only give your friends Goodies, but give them to yourself as well! :
Okay, so you didn't accomplish as much as you wanted this month...but you're doing real well for all the medication (over 11 different meds) that you still have to take after coming out of your 2 month hospital stay! So you definitely deserve a top of the line pedi pampering session! Dont be sooo hard on yourself!
Rosalyn, you need to do more for yourself! Take care of you and you'll still have time to do all that you do for others... & maybe even more!
July is your 35th B-day month, so give yourself the gift of health!

Aveda was My Pamper Place for the Day!
As I left Khalana Café, I took a double take into the Aveda store,
Certainly there was something in here that would aid my stress!
Sure enough, I set down for a free shoulder & neck message,
I spent a good hour or so in here,
just smelling the different oils and sprays.
People were walking by in thePlaza, looking in at me
Relaxed, full of peace,
A few decided to come in and take some home too.
Soon I came home with a brown aveda bag,
In it Chakra #7, an electric diffuser and
the sweet smelling oil bottle of Madagascar.
I've always wanted to go to Madagascar
Today it cost me less than a night's stay
on the island off the coast of Afrika.
Today I brought Madagascar home with me,
a little less stressed,
looking forward to a brighter day of a looser chest,
I am relaxed!
