From time to time I redo my introduction page and paste the old one here.

Okay so I am going to list my weight loss & fitness goals here again. And try to be more realistic, since my pounds creeped back up to 191 from 165 this year!

Sept. 7, 2008 Starting 191 lbs. try to get to/maintain 140-130 lbs by Resurrection Day, April 4, 2010! Be toned with a lower body fat % & great self-esteem and self-confidence!

*UPDATE: Sept. 21st, I'm up to 202.6 lbs, the HIGHEST I've ever been in my life!!! Something's gotta change! I know that these medication adjustments have my body retaining fluid & going through changes, but this is not cool! Well, let's seee what happends this week?!

09/07/08 - 191 (FitTV Fall Off Challenge Begins)
(09/21/08 - 202.6 I gained weight, so I adjusted my goals)
11/30/08 - 195 (FitTV Fall Off Challenge Ends)

02/14/09 - 185 (Valentine's Day)
04/13/09 - 175 (My Love's B-day!!!)
07/26/09 - 160 (My B-day!!!)

09/09/09 - 150 (Fall Off & Tone Up)
01/01/10 - 140 (New Year Newer Me)
4/04/10 - 135 (Resurrection Day!)

****Now, aside from adjusting to being out of my 6 week hospitalization (2 surjuries & more)Dec. '07-Jan. '08, One of my health issues is Hypothyroidism so exercise & eating healthy don't always have the same results.

Okay, so November you would think that I might want to try to focus on Nutrition (because of the letter "N").

But I don't want to think so much about how many pounds I need to use. I want to try to work on my endurance and actually try exercising, or as I like to say, Moving !

Yes I have FitTV Team goals and my own of course. But I have fallen back so on exercising that I want to try to get back to the basics of moving everyday. So, I don't klnow how it'll work and I'm not sure how well I'll do. But...
I don't want to get down on myself for not meeting my goals. I want to just keep moving forward. Let's see how well I do that.

Now as far as nutrition goes, I will try to do right, but that won't be my focus (I always get trapped there) so I'll do my best.

November Focus: MOVING my body everyday! No specified amount of time, or type of exercise. I'll try to post what I did do, instead of posting what I plan to do. It's open and I'll do what I can!

Well, check back to the blogs. Together we'll see how I've done! I hope that your own goals for November will help to encourgae you to move forward! There is a gospel song that my mom likes entitled, "Encourage Yourself". And that's one thing that I plan to do, with God's guidance.


*I might even stay away from the sacale until the FitTV Team's 12 week Challenge ends at the end of the month. But if my body starts retaining water again then I 'll have to check it. As I'm suppose to do my vitals every morning per doctor's orders.

The Last Day in October 2008, what to do for November...

Today is the last day in October, Halloween for most and a birthday for my sister-in-law.
For me it's the day before a new month to try to do better!

I didn't finish the MC but I hope to do it again in the future. Maybe the first quarter of 2009. No , it wasn't because my lemons went just didn't work out this time. And yes I do think it's a good way to cleanse the body. I do believe that I'll do the Salt Water Flush from time to time even w/o the Master Cleanser.

So today while everyone is out trick-o-treating I will be home coming up with a workable plan to start exercising again, eating balanced meals, and just feel better abot me. I do think that if I focus on that the weight might come off and stay off. Even with the meds not making it too easy.

    Sorry it didn't work out this time, but I'm glad you're not beating yourself up about it. Here's one thing I learned from when I finally lost a lot of weight awhile back doing LA Weight Loss. If YOU really want to lose, you won't let anything stop you. Just remember that no matter what method you choose to lose, if you really set your mind to DO IT, you will be able to. Just make sure you choose something you can stick with. If you know you are gonna cheat, build that into your diet. Yesterday I just read a blog about a gal on here who has lost over 100 lbs! She allows herself a Hershey's miniature or one small square of chocolate each day. But that is all. Isn't that awesome? And she's already down over 100 lbs.!!! Neither of us has anywhere near as much to lose as her - and maybe it makes it a little harder for us because of that - but we can do it if we really want to. (Yes, I'm using this to encourage myself, too. I hope that's okay!) Let's Do It!!!

So this is a left side view picture also from Day 1. I know some people don't post pictures, for different reasons. But I'll say that it is very motivating and an eye opener! May I encourage you to do pictures of yourself, even if you don't show your face. It will be rewarding when you get in better least that's what I think it will do for me!

Okay, so it's Thursday and I'm on Day 3 of the Masters Cleanser. I'm not doing too bad, I am a little tired, but I also have some energy, if that makes sense. I have had some head & stomach aches, but I had that before I started.
After Bible Study I left my car there and got a ride home, because I was feeling light headed and a bit dizzy.

I know I should watch the snacking because I'm suppose to be doing it strictly like the book...but....I'm blogging to be honest.

So how's what I did that wasn't the book:
* I had 4 kiddie size starburst (if I had a mint I would have sucked on that)
* 1 orbit chewing gum (hey I can't have my breath smelling)
* 6 pecans late night ( I just ate about 7 this morning too.)

* I didn't do the lax tea at night, but I did have a cup of homemade Jamaican Hibiscus Tea

So as I start Day 3 I did the SWF and had about 3 cups of Lemonade. I have enough, 32oz left, to last me for a little bit, but I need to make another 128oz worth. I have everything out on the counter, so I'll get up in a bit to make it.

Weight.............198.8 lbs...................194.6 lbs
Body Fat.............46.0 %.......................45.9 %
Body Water.......39.0 %.......................39.0 %

I still haven't done my measurements, but I am happy that the numbers are getting lower. My goal weight is to get to 185-170lbs in 14 Days.
This morning I thought that I might want to try to do 21 days (weight goal 178-157), but we'll see. This would put me closer to where I was after I got out of the hospital. Oh and my body fat % is getting lower which is also great!!!!! emoticon

You're doing great! Just keep on doing all the good stuff you're doing. Get yourself some mints of that'll keep you from being tempted by the starbursts... and that would help your breath, too! You know what to do, and you're doing it almost 100%! And you're losing, too!!! YEA!!!!

As for adding an extra week, that'll be up to you - and how you're feeling. By the time you make it through two weeks, one more will probably seem like nothing!

Rosalyn Does...(MC) Detox Day 1/14 Down

Okay so that picture is the back of me. I'm wearing a size 12 bikini bottom (on purpose) & my White Puerto Rico Tank (it's rolled up, but my niece picked it out and it's a bit on the small size even for a large). I picked these two pieces so that when I loose the weight I can wear the same thing and truly see how well it looks!
I haven't figured out how to do a split screen yet. But when I do I'll post a side by side of a front, back & side view.

It's Wednesday, October 22, 2008 the beginning of Day 2. This blog is a Day 1 Review:
So Day 1 of 14 is done. I actually slipped up and ate two things that I'm not even suppose to eat when I break the detox! Around 5pm I had 1/2 cup of pecans & a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich on Hawaiian Bread.

Needles to say I was soon after motivated to not do that again, because I got the worst stomach ache emoticon I didn't even go to choir rehearsal.

I thought of stopping and start on my 1st planned start date, Oct. 25th...but I didn't I just finished the 64oz of drink and the nigh time tea before I went to bed.

A couple of great moments for the day... I went to my Well-Fit class and worked the strength training chart (I was a lil sore) & when my BF ordered a pizza I told him I couldn't have any so he just got his toppings on it. He had forgot that I was detoxifying. I didn't eat any pizza and was able t be in the same rom as he ate!

So I'm starting Day 2 and I'm taking a lil longer to drink the SWF (Salt Water Flush) this morning. Oh, I also had a few more eliminations yesterday, & 1 so far this morning.

I'm really impressed you didn't eat the pizza! Congrats on already losing some weight, too! Awesome! (But no more "snacks", okay? It sounds like you already learned your lesson on that one - eek!)
