DEFEATED.....

Tuesday, November 02, 2010

"Being defeated is only a temporary condition; giving up is what makes it permanent."

-- Marilyn vos Savant

Believe in YOUrself and NEVER give up....because you can make it through this. You are closer to your goals today than you were yesterday......

Just a lil reminder I gave to myself this morning.

Yesterday I made it through Insanity, 4 miles of WATP and 30 minutes of CT. I got in 4 meals/snacks including 7 fruits/veggies & 13 glasses of water. No junk, CANDY (which seems to be all over since Halloween), fried food, or fast food.....

I even tracked all of my food..haven't done that in awhile.

I also accomplished some personal things yesterday....and I'm feelin kiinda good!

Thank you all for your support...you have mine too!!!

If I can make it....YOU CAN TOO!!!!

We are not to be defeated.

Get it in SP!!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Clean it up!

Friday, October 29, 2010

I'm sitting here at work irritated beyond measure. I'm thinking about my weight loss or lack there of. I got down from 236lbs to 213lbs. That is a great accomplishment for me, BUT I have gained some of that weight back(for a few reasons). I don't even know how I lost it in the first place, but it's been extremely hard to get it back off.

I workout---no problem

I drink at least 12 glasses of water daily----no problem

I get in at least 6 fruits/veggies per day----no problem

So, what is the problem!!!??? I have yet to figure it out. I am still working on it.

Starting Sunday I am going to change my workouts and clean up my eating a bit more. I hope to see some improvements...if not yall will hear me holler and then I go back to square one.

I have a goal to reach...and it will be done! I want to lose the weight and keep it off.

Happy Friday Folks.... emoticon

I've been struggling on and off with the same thing. My body seems to get complacent after a time. I'm in the process now, of shaking it up a bit. Personally, I'd be lost without the tracker. I make up my own menu, but the tracker...love it!

Keep at it....you'll do fine. You are so worth the effort! emoticon

We all fall down, but we get back up with lessons learned and a more renewed out look on where we are now and where we want to be. Your already a winner because it's the journey that grows us. Stay encouraged and walk into your better life!

Thanks for the suggestions and support.

@ Cegrube 12oz of water per day was a typo. I meant 12 glass of water per day. I only drink water and tea.

I do measure my food, but I do not use the SP food tracker.

What I was simply trying to say is that my workouts, water intake & fruit/veggie intake are on point, BUT I need to clean up my eating and cut some things out. And that's what I plan in doing.

Sunday I start a new workout routine and I will go back to planning and preparing my meals ahead as that's what's helped me the most.

I will keep working at this until I get it right!

Hmmm 12oz of water? That seems to be a little short of the 96oz that SparkPeople advocates. emoticon Are you actually measuring the food and drinks that you're taking in or taking the info from the container and entering them on the SparkPeople Nutrition Page? If so, are you staying within your calorie range?

Congratulations on your weight loss! emoticon job.
