We seemed to be under the clouds, drizzle, rain, drizzle machine most of the day. The sun came out very briefly (5 minutes) and the rain in moving in again tonight.
Today was my day of rest and I used it to my advantage. I took a nap, woke refreshed and
decided to plant the 8 raspberries bushes that SIL brought from West River. We toured the
farm, did chores, glanced at the garden (looks more like a lake) and came home. I put supper in the oven and packed a one gallon jar of asparagus to pickle. Took longer to pack than
the rest of the process but it will be good eats at State Fair time.
We're waiting for the neighbor to start his fire pit and we'll go sit outside for a time. Might even be that the bugs are taking the day off too.
A quote from FROSTY99's blog "Look forward to simple things, enjoy life and be happy for all
that you do have".
I am counting my blessings because there is someone else who is
struggling with greater issues that I can imagine.
I think my life is pretty good.
Thanks for stopping by!
