For those that know and love (?) this mildly insane person, it will seem perfectly natural that she find lots to keep her busy and entertained. After Sunday's ambulance run, I took time to reflect on the situation and knew that I had done the best I could. And being slightly psychic, I set out clothes-just in case-there was a call in the night. Well, at 3:15 am, the pager went off and we traveled to check on a woman who needed assistance. Her husband was unable to get her off the floor alone. We drove in the dense fog, gave what assistance we could and left
instructions to call her doctor later. Aside from weakness, her problems were so minor, she would have been checked and sent home. She called and arrangements were made for her
to be admitted for treatment later that morning.
We babysat the grandchildren from 8:45 to 2:45. They were a joy and delight as always. So much energy! I was able to persuade William to take a nap-pretty easy actually!
A double header basketball night! 4 games and Parents Night to boot. JV boys won their game-barely and David got some good floor time. By 9:00 pm, I was home, eating a late supper but enjoying it so much better than food from the concession stand.
Today is another foggy, cloudy day with the next 6 days promising rain, freezing rain and snow. But I am staying positive because that is just the way I am! I have stayed on track since the beginning of the New Year with all my goals and streaks. Woohoo!
Have an awesome, Sparktacular Day! Here's to you, dear friends, who stop to read and comment! You are priceless gems in my journey and you shine with the brightness of the sun and light my world!
