Eating a low-fat diet is soooo hard! It's killing me! Yes, I'm eating things I'm not supposed to have lol but paying for it too! Today I've stayed on track! Juice and grapes for breakfast and lunch and oven-baked fish and mashed potatoes (w/ I Can't Believe It's Not Butter) w/ a Coke Zero (a no-no--didn't know...won't happen again). I'm not sure I'll be able to eat regular food even after my four weeks are up. The low-fat food is not bad it's just me wanting food I'm used to eating and know I can't have! My exercise was Leslie Sansone's 15min Jog and Shaun T's (can't stand his voice! argh!) Hip-hop Abs (thanks Steph). I felt some uncomfortable tugging in my largest incision but I re-postioned myself and carried on. Pretty good for day one.

  I sooooo feel you. I'm on week two of eating healthier and eating small portions and it is soooo hard!!! As I type, my boyfriend and his son are eating fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and cabbage while I eat sushi, salad and a couple of slices of watermelon! Argh!!! But I am determined and I have to stay focus.

Let's see....I left off walking in August. That went well until I started being tired all the time and just didn't feel like going. My diet was off and on so I didn't lose anymore weight but I didn't gain any either. Then I started physical therapy for my in September. Finished up last Monday and had my gallbladder removed Fri 10/9. Being told I had gallstones was a major slap in the face. Telling me I need to get myself together. I fussed about the low fat diet that I have to do for 4weeks but it's not so bad after all. When I get released from the doctor my goal is to get back into the groove of exercising. Pray for me.

I had my gallbladder removed about 4 yrs. ago and it was NO joke. I recoverd well.

Getting back on track

My son has football practice and my daughter has cheerleader practice everyday. It's too far to drive back home once I drop them off. I stay and walk around the track. Usually I walk an hour but 30mins at the least. It's been two weeks and I'm down two pounds. It's not alot but I'm still happy. That first week I exercised but my eating was terrible. Last week I my eating was good until the weekend. I fell flat on my face the whole weekend! I'm happy to say I got up and got back on track this morning. My goal for this week is to work staying on track this weekend.

    well keep up the good work.. i've kinda been yo-yoing too, but i'm hoping to get to some kind of consistency..

Off day??? NOT!!!!!

The plan was to take Saturday and Sunday off. LOL Notice I said was...Came home changed clothes after work this morning and went to the gym in the rain despite not having a workout partner today! I was still thinking I was going to take it easy and only do a light 30mins. 30mins turned into 70 even after almost getting thrown off the treadmill and after the power outtage! FEELING SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! I will take tomorrow off though. Got to go praise the Lord!


I made it another week!

I'm feeling so good about exercising again. I've been to the gym everyday except one. The day I didn't go I exercised at home. My reward was another pair of workout capris and top! I won't buy anymore until I have to. The good thing is I can see my body changing! That's more than enough motivation!
