Signed up for the 5% Challenge. 15 pounds. Very easy goal to reach.

I need to make a list of rewards, as I make each goal, how am I going to treat myself.

My Grandangel is 4 today!!

I'll be leaving to go to the west coast of FL, it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive. Phone is loaded with podcasts (makes the time go quicker).

There will be cake tonight, cake at the birthday party tomorrow. I will take a small bite. I know what gluten and sugar does to my body when I eat a lot of it. I want to be able to walk (My daughter lives in a third floor apartment)

My Grandangel is 4 today!!

Day One, Again!

Today is day one, again. There will probably be other day ones as well. I'm not being negative, just realistic. Life happens. Saturday is my Grandangel's 4th birthday. I will have a cupcake. Sunday will be Day one again emoticon

The Holy Spirit brings messages to us, in order for us to learn. I've been reading a lot of articles, listening to podcasts about my health. The things I need to stop eating because of my thyroid and blood sugar issues.

My health issues are related. My goal, is next year, not to be worried about my blood sugar levels.

    I disagree with starting over at day one. Are you as bad off as you were at your first day 1? I am sure there has been success in between. Just brush the dust off and get back on that horse and ride into the sunset (your goal weight). YOu can do it. emoticon

I've been listening to Women's Gluten Free Health Summit. The Paleo Mom will be speaking about the Autoimmune Protocol some time this week.

I know gluten isn't the best thing for us. . .

I didn't realize the link to Thyroid Issues AND Gluten AND sugar.

I know the skin on my arms is smoother, no more "chicken skin". I know that if I have numerous meals with gluten, there is inflammation in my knees.

When I have a meal with gluten, the inflammation can stay in my system up to a month!! UGH!! No wonder I'm not feeling 100%!
