It is easy to lose track of your goals. I know when I don't check in with SP I tend to gain weight. I want to lose the weight and become physically active, but it is so hard. I'll setup my menu for the new week and start again.

    Glad you're back! Its hard but if it were easy, we'd all be thin & obsessing about something else. lol Be encouraged it gets easy. . . .Do anything for 3 weeks & it becomes a habit.

You must eat your breakfast!!!!!!, You must eat your breakfast!!!!
My son had a doctor's appointment early this morning. I slept in because it was my day off. When I woke up to take him I did not give myself enough time to prepare a healthy breakfast. I promised the children that I would pick them up donuts. (This was my suggestion). Due to me not eating, smelling those donuts and be hungry from no breakfast, I consumed 700 calories from 3 donuts. emoticon
Thank goodness for SP I can see the wrong that I've done instead consuming the calories without seeing the numbers. emoticon

    Trial & error. Some times my kids like it better when I make them pancakes eggs & hash browns. Donuts are strawberry frosted & I don't care for those so no problem there. UNLESS I get my bow tie from Dunkins, then I got trouble cause thats almost 300+ calories. YIKES!

    Hi MsBarney

At least you can admit to the error of your ways by eating 3 donuts. I can see one, but three. But don't beat yourself up over it. We all slip every once in a while. You just have to make sure your other calories stay within the range so to you don't go to much over for today.

Snacking on the job!

My office was just informed today that we will no longer be able to eat at our desk.
Does anyone have any suggestions for healthy drinks or something small that I could nibble on without being noticed? Around 10 am I have to have something to eat or it is very hard for me to concentrate. All suggestions are appreciated. emoticon

    How about a protein bar, you could break off a piece now and then.
I also pack a cheese stick and break pieces off as needed.

Gaining not losing

I have gain 2 pounds in 2weeks. It is so hard for me to eat right each day. When I do cook healthy it seems that it can take up so much of evening. Well back to the drawing board.

    Don't give up, look how far you have come! I have the same thing takes so long to cook for a healthy meal. Instead of just finding something and throwing it in the pot. I have been a sparks member for 6 days now and just love the results. I walk 3 night a week for 30 min. and I make sure I always drink 8 glasses of water. It sure is working good. It sure does take discipline. One half cup of spaghetti doesn't seem like much. But just think toward the ending goal what clothes you would like to go buy. Or walk up and down the beach in your new swim suit!!! Hang in there you can do it.

Son's B-day Weekend

Another weekend down the drain. It was out of control. I could not bring my self to track my foods. I ended up going to Ci's Ci's pizza, which I am not crazy about. Carb central!!! The sad part was that I ate the food and did not enjoy it. All of those wasted calories. Now I have to make sure that I work out this week. Working out is my weak spot, I have to make sure that I get it into my schedule. When school is out for the kids, it will be a lot easier(LOL, I hope), but for now I will give it my all. emoticon

    Remember... You are making a LIFE style change. You are in this for life. One day isn't going to change the scales that much.
