Still on weight watchers...down 9lbs in 10 weeks. Not bad.

Also, still running. I am up to 2.25 without stopping to walk! that's huge for me. I have to brag, it keeps me motivated when you all respond.

Down 7lbs on Weight Watchers

Hello,

I'm down 7lbs on Weight Watchers... and for the first time in a long time, I don't think I will gain it back. It took me a month and a half to lose this, but if it's for good it is SOOOOOOOO worth it.

The meetings are helping me so much. By the end of the week, I get discouraged. Then the meetings help pick me up and start a new week all over again.

I'm also keeping up with my weight training and cardio, but since the flood I haven't been jogging. I was up to 1.9 miles before the flood. Time to get my butt back on the treadmill!

Joined Weight Watchers

I officially admit that I can't control my eating. So I joined weight watchers. 3 years ago when I joined on-line, I lost 10 lbs and was able to keep it off for a while. Time to hold myself accountable again. This time, I'm attending the meeting so that I have to admit it not only to myself, but to a room full of people.

I exercise 4 times a week and feel that I have a good handle on that. I am able to run 1.9 miles now, and am building myself up to a 5K. I do weight training as well 3 times a week.

I just can't seem to control my portion size. I eat healthy, and unhealthy, but either way can't control my portion size and eat too much, especially at nights and on the weekend.

I have to hold myself accountable, but I will need your support. Its so easy to say screw it and eat a sleeve of Oreos..... so very easy!

I am a member of WW and I find the combo with SP a good fit the meetings are great
and a good leader is a real bonus they keep the meetings interesting. Keep in touch if you like! Good luck.

Down 6 lbs

So it took me 4 months to lose 6lbs.... oh well, at least I did it. I am eating healthier, still doing weight lifting 2-3 times a week, and now jogging. YES JOGGING. Who would have ever thought I would do that. But I am doing it and I'm loving it.

I have a long way to go, but at least I am doing it.

Now I just need to stay away from sweets! I eat lots of veges, but need to leave out the sweets.

I still am doing weight training and loving it. I am back in 2 pairs (out of the 6 pairs) of capri's I wore last summer. The scale hasn't moved more than 2 lbs, but at least I can fit in my clothes again.

I think muscle weights more than fat.

Also, ever day at lunch we have been walking a little over a mile. It is really helping and adding up.

    That is great! Weight-lifting is up my alley too. I go by my clothes size and measurements instead of the scale. Keep up the good work, and keep this image in mind about a scale: emoticon emoticon

    Muscle may weigh more, but it is also more compact and slimming!
