Busy Saturday

Whew I had a very busy day for me. I got so much done today. Much more than usual. I had a hugh mess in utility room that needed straighten out and stored and I got it all done.Amazing what you can do while sitting on a stool.
Then I got laundry done and even cleared off laundry table.Thats a biggie.
Then I made a hugh pot of soup. I ended up with 36 cups of soup. Even got my mess cleaned up and I make a big mess when I fix the soup. Plus got a few other things done.My hiney is dragging. I really hate to dirty kitchen to make supper.
I stayed in my calorie range yesterday and am looking to do it again today.
I did have a gain of 3# which is good since 2 days ago I weighted 14 more #.Thats how much fluid I was dealing with.And part of 3# left is also fluid. Just something I have to deal with.I also have to be sure and take extra potassium when I lose that much fluid that quick.
Our weather has turned and it has warmed up enough that I had to turn the AC on.

Wow, you were a busy lady! I hope you were able to sleep well last night. I was up until 1AM wrapping presents. I was exhausted and my back was killing me. Just want to get my blog done as I have to make up my meds tonight and that takes a couple of hours to do.
Got my eye exam and have new glasses coming.I wanted a new look and my new ones are different. I couldn't believe how expensive they were. It will be at least a week before they are ready.
I have done very good with eating today.The night is still young but I am expecting to end it well within my calorie range.
We did stop at grocery store for just a few things.Mainly my tomatoes.But I love Christmas decorations and I got another little tree.This is a live tiny tree. I need to see if I can find a couple of colored bulbs to hang on it.
I did lose 10# of fluid today.I can tell a big difference.
We are having a cool snap today.I had to wear a light sweater when we went out. I told Bill you guys would boo me if I complained about 50 something degree weather. We are so spoiled here in Florida. I do have heat on but it isn't coming on much. I would die up there with all you guys that are having snow and freezing weather.
My Christmas cactus plants are all about to burst out in bloom. Will take a pic once they bloom in a few days.
Well I better go get started making up my meds for the next 3 weeks.

hi Eleni, love your blog, yeah Bill is right booo. last night it got down to 12 and the wind was really bad that made it feel like 15. but anyways the sun is shining that is the main thing. no more s--- word right now. like your little tree, yes have to fine a few small balls for it.i got a talking Christmas tree it is cute, i,ll have to get it out and set it up and take a picture of it.his name is douglas fir that is what he says hi i,m douglas fir. it,s funny than he sings a christmas song.well take care have have a nice weekend. I'm not booing, but I am laughing at the idea of 50s being cold. It was 40 degrees here yesterday and I was outside sunning myself. All relative after below zero temps, What a thrill. I love our Christmas cactus. You reminded me, our only orchid is in bloom. HOW, I'll never know. With these freezing temps and forced air heat, It is a mystery. Oh Eleni, I just got my eyes checked and new glasses on the way also. They were expensive but we are worth it. I loved my old/new glasses (they were only a year old) but they kept breaking and this time could not be repaired. Love the little tree you got at the grocery store. I do love Christmas trees. Your Christmas tree is cute. I was just complaining to Jason that I miss having a real Christmas tree. I love the smell. I haven't seen a real tree that small before. The reindeer is a cute touch. I can't wait to see the new glasses! I don't update my glasses very often because it's costly. I hardly wear my glasses anyway. 50 degrees sounds chilly for Florida. How chilly does it get there in the winter? My heat is set at 72 degrees and I'm still cold. I don't want to bump it up because then I'll roast at night. We're warming up a touch this weekend -- low 40s and rain predicted. Yesterday they were saying snow and ice. Rain is much better than ice. I'm putting my little tree up this weekend. Every ornament sparks a memory. I love decorating it. The tree is just under 4' tall so it's pretty easy to handle. Report Inappropriate Comment

Nothing much going on here.In fact I have done very little today.Bill came home and cleaned up kitchen.He even brought home supper.
I did get the gingerbread train done. I still have a house to do.

Hopefully I will do a better job with the house.
We had a lot of rain today but temps are still nice. I get cold just hearing about all the snow and cold weather some of you are having.
I am going tomorrow to get eye exam and new glasses. I could use same frames but I want new ones.
Bill is getting a nice Christmas present.I am getting him the Total gym that Chuck Norris advertises. It is very expensive but I am getting a restocked one which is much cheaper.He probably won't use it but he wants it.All he does for me he deserves something nice. This is the cheapest one.The elite is way out of my range. Actually this one is too. But Bill is worth it.
Ok thats it folks.My eating stinks. Enough said there

I think your train looks fabulous. It sure looks better than mine (nonexistent). Make sure Bill is going to use that thing before you get it. You know how we all are. Its a pretty expensive thing to use for a coat rack. Isn't it funny how we buy the most expensive coat racks we can find. Hi dear one! I think your train looks great! That Chuck Norris gym is an awesome present. I'm thinking I want to change Josh's bedroom into a work out room. I'm not sure what type of equipment to get. I just order SparkPeople's fitness ball, the light exercise straps, the DVD and the pedometer, I also ordered a 10 minute exercise DVD by Coach Nicole..I'm thinking anyone can do 10 minutes of exercise right? Even me! I really, really want to knock off another 10 pounds within the next 3 months and I can see the only way I'm going to achieve that is with exercise...yickkkk, I HATE exercise! I need a new exam too. I'm going to wait until after Christmas. I have monthly contacts and I've been wearing them 3+ months at a time. I have one pair left. I hate going to to the eye doctor. Nothing much going on. I watched the Biggest Loser last night.I enjoyed the ending.
Then I watched Charlie Brown as I had never seen it. Now I have seen it.
I am trying to get back on track.So far not too successful.

Just a few pics of trip. Here is a pic of Bobbi and I on her beautiful back patio.She was kind enough to crop the one she put on her blog.But I am showing my fat bod so you can see some of her lovely patio.The second pic is also on her patio.
Then a few at Butteryfly Estate. I will be posting them all on Flickr and myspace when I get time to do it.
Well we had to go to grocery store tonight so I need to get the stuff put away.I want to watch The Biggest Loser tonight. I am taping the Charlie Brown special because my cyber daughter Robin told me I needed to watch it at least once. So I will watch it tomorrow.
My eating is not too great.I have been off track for a few weeks now.But I haven't given up and I am still trying. I get so tired of thinking about food etc all the time. But I know you guys do too.
