We made it thru rain all the way.Took 3 hours so it was very tiring.The room is nice.Bill just moved the big chair so I can watch TV from it.We have a suite so we have a full kitchen and seperate bedroom.So we also have 2 TV's.But we can't get thermostat to work.Oops there it goes.
It is nasty weather and I am hoping I don't get sick.
We went to Gators for supper.It was close and with all the rain and it being dark I didn't want to go far. I love gator soI had that with a salad.Bill gave me some of his french onion soup.I only had a little because it tasted great but was too salty.
I am looking forward to spending time with Bobbi tomorrow.The weather will determine where we meet.
Ok I will check in tomorrow.I have a low signal in room but it works

I'll share a funny story with you. A few months ago my DH and I were at a hotel snuggled up in bed and the hotel had some sort of a mix up and they rented our room out again. Never heard of that happening before. Put the dead bolt on. Have a great weekend. Report Inappropriate Comment

I didn't get much done today.Fluid etc is taking a toll on me. But we have most of stuff staged to be packed.Got all paperwork and maps ready. I just hate that it is suppose to be raining when I go to meet Bobbi. It will not be easy to handle getting my walker in and out of car without drowning. But nothing will stop me from meeting Bobbi. Or I hope not. Very last resort would be to see if she could come to hotel. I don't want to ask her that as I was looking forward to seeing her decorated house. May have to skip lunch and just go to her house.It all depends on how bad the weather is. Not going to worry about it.It will all work out.
I got our new sheets I ordered off internet and they are nice.Much better than the ones Bill got at sears. Now I don't have to strip bed and wash sheets before Angel and Brianna comes.That will be Brianna's job and I can wash sheets later. Does make it easier for me.
A friend wanted to see a pic of the Charlie Brown tree.I first saw it on Sunny's blog and thought it was cute. I just got an email from a friend on east coast and she went and got one too.They are selling like hotcakes over there too.
My grand daughter Brianna didn't know what it was but her Mom Angel did. I must admit I know little about Charlie Brown myself.I just liked the simple little tree.
Ok Friends I must go as I have emails to reply to and want to get the rest of stuff gathered up.I have all morning to pack it as Bill bowls and won't be home til 1 and he can pack it all up. I do have to go get a blood check at 11 as I didn't go today when I was suppose to as I didn't feel well.
I do not know if I will be able to use my laptop or not.Did I tell you my new battery came yesterday.The battery that came with it was only good for 1 hour.New one is suppose to be good for 7 + hours. It is bigger and makes little Acer laptop much heavier.
Ok I really do have to go.
Oh I did get my Christmas cards done and mailed.I will still have a few more to do but most are done.

I'm so late posting anything to you, but just wanted to say, have a good time on your trip..don't worry about the rain and such, you just be careful getting in and out if it is raining. Love the Charlie Brown tree.. I could make one of those with a pine limb and a couple boards I think.. May not be the same kind of tree but would look almost the same..TOO CUTE and love the one ornament on it.. easy peasy on the take down after the holidays.. haha New sheets.. aaahhh.. bet they feel gooood.. Have a great trip!! Think Positive, which is the best way to live. I love your wallpaper. I've never messed with setting here on Spark. Did I ever respond back to you as to why I rinse the ground beef?? The reason is when you rinse meat after browning, you are rinsing the FAT down the drain. After rinsing you then add your spices. Hi Ms. Eleni: Don't stress your sweet little self one bit..we will just take it as it comes...if you want I will certainly come to the hotel...it will have to be a little later if I do the market..I don't break down until 12:00 noon and sometimes get a little delayed if I have a last minute customer...but no matter we'll work things out. I have to make a dish for our Saturday night group, but as long as I get that started by about 3:30ish I should be fine on my end. Wet Wednesday Evening

The rains have begun.We are suppose to have heavy rains and wind and it has started. Then we are suppose to have more bad weather on Sat which stinks as that is when I will be meeting Bobbi another sparker. Very difficult to get my walker out of back of car without getting drown. Oh well I will hope for the best.
My spark pal Sunny posted about her Charlie Brown tree and I saw one and asked Bill to get it for me.There is a reason why I am always saying how great he is.He had to go to 5 stores to find one that had the tree.They have been selling out as soon as they come in. He also searched all over today to find some Christmas cards that weren't so overpriced. I usually get my cards after Christmas for next year.Somehow I didn't do it last year.
I did great on my calories yesterday and am doing ok today.But The eating out we did over weekend has caused a fluid problem.Will take a few days for that to straighten out. Legs are swollen and that tells me why I have the huge jump in weight.It isn't how much I ate but what I ate. It is always something.
Ok friends I do need to clean up supper mess.Bill emptied dish washer for me. He is so good to me and never complains. Wow it is really raining hard now.

Hi Sweet friend...well, we are on the count down. If it's truly pouring rain Saturday morning we might not go to market. No sense of drowning if customers aren't out..you know Florida...we are all wimps...rain to us might as well be snow to any other hearty human! I hope it is dry for you on Saturday when you meet up with Bobbi. We had just a few snowflakes last night. I just hope we have a foot of snow for Christmas. I have to have a white Christmas or I feel cheated. Silly, I know. I looked on the net and found Peanuts Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Does it have only a half dozen branches? I'm sure that must be the one you are talking about. This is the first I've heard of them. Is it due to the sodium when you go out to eat or is there other additives that make you retain fluid? I should know all of this as my husband has heart problems but said to say, I don't. I know he should keep away from sodium. I really should do better in keeping as much out of our meals is I can. I just realized I hadn't blogged.
I have gotten a lot done today too but it has been done sitting. I am ready to start Christmas cards.Since I have most of labels made Bill will help me.I send so many I don't put messages in them as it would take me forever.Right now I have about 78 to send.I am waiting to see if any more of you want to exchange cards.I have addresses for 10 people so far. So do send me your address via spark mail if you would like to exchange cards.
I need to get all my paper stuff ready for trip.Maps etc. Also make my list of not to forget things.Friday will be here so soon. I will be having lunch with Floridasun(Bobbi) on Sat.I am looking forward to that. After the holiday's I have 2 more sparkers who are coming to Florida so hopefully I will see them.Thats the plan anyway.
I will be in my calorie range tonight.That feels good.

Hi sweet Eleni...I'm SO EXCITED about Saturday! I know your concerns in navigating the market...and the parking situation. You just never know how crowded it will be. I've even heard that there may be rain in the forecast for Saturday...ekkks...that won't be fun at all! You have our cell phone # so I think we should just play it by ear. Maybe you can call before you get ready to leave Ft. Myers and I can tell you how crowded it appears to be...then if the mobs seem too much to manage we can just plan to eat at a restaurant and skip the market. I also have been rethinking Silver Spoon..had a Salmon salad there last week and it was pretty awful...and expensive to boot. I'll put my thinking cap on before Saturday...can't wait to meet you! Hey maybe we can just have lunch and then you can come back to our house.. we are only about 10 minutes away from the market..I do have cats in case you might be allergic...or some people aren't crazy about cats...if that's the case no worries we can just visit longer at the restaurant...can't wait...big hugs! I wil be working on my Christmas card labels real soon.If you would like to exchange cards we need to exchange addresses either on spark mail or regular email. Do not post an address. I have addresses for 7 of you.But if we haven't exchanged addresses and you would like to please send me a spark message with address and I will do the same.
