I got up earlier today and am feeling much better. I am always tired but somedays are bad. When I get the bad days I just rest. I am more back to my normal whatever that may be.

Wow It is hard for me to believe.
Nothing much going on here. I thought I was going to get a tomato off one of my plants today. When I picked it I was sad to see it had a big worm or bug hole on the back side. But my big orchid gets more blooms each week. Here is an updated pic I just took and there are several stems of buds that will soon bloom.I will have to get Bill to move it when all have bloomed so you can really see how big it is.
OK Like I said not much going on.
I did watch biggest loser last night. I do wish they would leave some of the sad stories out. They make it where it sounds like over weight people are to be pitied.I don't like that part.I can't believe that it is healthy to work out so hard that you throw you. The large numbers are disturbing to me.That can't be healthy. These people have serious health issues. I am surprised no one hasn't died yet. But I still watch it and will pick a favorite later on. The kid that came back for 2nd chance is already a favorite

I still haven't watched Biggest Loser but my husband is DVRing the series for me. I did see the part about the lady that lost her husband and children in a car accident. That's just awful!! I'd love to have one day with Bob though. He's a sexy beast!!!

You're doing so great on your eating!! I'm so proud of you!!

Another day of extra tiredness. This is something that happens on occasion and I don't fight it. I didn't get up til noon and was back in bed by 3pm.Hubby brought home rotisserie chicken for supper. This tiredness usually only lasts a couple of days so I should be fine tomorrow.

I am still beating the Food Demon.
I watched the biggest Loser and I was amazed at how much weight was lost in 1 week. Just isn't normal. It can't be good for anyone to work out to the point of throwing up.How can that be good for you. I am happy with 2#.
Angel saw the heart doc and he decreased the dosage and charged her nothing for the visit. She goes back in two weeks unless she has a problem.
I need to catch up with my sparking. emoticon

Sorry about the days of tiredness...when you have those days, just do what your body tells you to do, if you need to sleep, then sleep!
Good to hear Angel got in to see your Dr. Hope she continues to do better.
Congratulations on your 33 days of beating the food demon!
Don't worry about your eating on your trip...you will do good!
Hang in there...you are loved!

Good to hear Angel is doing better. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I DVR'd Biggest Loser because I wanted to watch the finale of Big Brother. I don't think a huge weight loss in one week is very healthy either. I'll take the slow boat. I'm learning how to eat right and exercise. I wonder how many people gain back the weight after the show.

You'll be fine this weekend! If you go over it's not a big thing. You've come so far and have been doing so well I have no doubt in my mind that when you get home it'll be business as usual.

That is a good attitude to have. YOu have been doing great. I went over my calories once on vacation and just chalked it up to being on vacation. Once or twice isn't going to hurt you as long as you don't go crazy. Just make good choices and get back to it when you get home. If you stress about it that is when it will get worse. Just have a good time.

Wow I did it again. But it was too close once again.I need to get tighter starting today. We enjoyed the fish yesterday and Bill even said it was the best he had ever had.But the oil is in the garbage so no more frying.
I have to take some time to clear off this desk.It is getting hard to find the mouse. Well almost. emoticon
I guess everyone is doing good as I have not received any frantic calls.
I did have a surprise visit from my grand daughter Felicia last night. That was very nice and was a great way to end the day.It is hard to believe she is so grown up.Living on her own now and working full time and taking 5 college classes. I don't think her parents realize how lucky they are.
I bought this thing at grocery store and I have no idea how to cook it.The produce guy said it was in squash family but I think it is in pumpkin family. Can someone tell me how to cook this thing. It is small but not tiny
I don't think I have had a bug in awhile. This guy was checking out the okra plant this morning
And can't remember if I had this one yet so this may be a repeat
Ok folks.I really need to clear this desk off. No telling what is hidden here. I lost the remote for one of dvd players last night.I think it fell in trash can.Good thing both dvd's had the same remote.
Hope your weekend has been good.
Oh I forgot. While I was sleeping late today Hubby made a special trip to a super WalMart to get some Gel Bites and a red broom for me. He does all the sweeping but it was sweet he got a red one.He is just too good to me. He is out now picking some birthday cards up for me.

Hi Eleni! I love your pictures and your animal friends. Sounds like your desk is looking like my desk. Things get lost often around here. emoticon

I just spent some time on Google Images trying to find your squash, although it looks much like a pumpkin, I do believe it is from the squash family. It could be a Kaboosch squash, I gave up because it is time for dinner around here and the DH needs my help.

I was gone all afternoon at a women's musical event so I should get up off the old keester and do something with him.

Glad you had a Sunny Sunday.

hugs, Paula

That definitely looks like a pumpkin. Color it orange and it looks just like the mini pumpkins at the pumpkin farm. I don't care for squash so I can't help you.

I'm glad you had a great visit with your granddaughter. She sounds busy. Good for her! My daughter is already talking about getting a job and she's only 14!

Did you check the trash can for the remote? I lost my can opener once and my husband found it in the trash. I must've thrown it away after opening a can. It can't accidentally fall in since the garbage is under the sink to prevent the dogs from getting into it. Sometimes I'm out there!

I liked hearing that you are willing to plan around high calorie meals when you want one and know how to keep yourself on track. Your squash looks cute. I would bake it whole in the oven at about 400 degrees until you can easily slip a sharp knife ito it (if it's really small start checking at 20 min). Once it's soft scrape it out of it's shell and I'm sure you'll be able to come up with your favorite seasonings--I usually just use a little butter and black pepper. (I've got a spaghetti squash in the house and now I can almost taste it.) Enjoy your Sunday.

Rain Rain Rain

Saturday, September 12, 2009

It is a very dreary and rainy day.I am so tired and sleepy.Tried to take a nap but couldn't fall asleep. I did not sleep well last nap. And I got back up after I laid down and got into food. It was either get up or push Bill out of the bed. I still made my goal but I was 20 calories from going over. That is way to close.

Today was my day for southern fried fish and shrimp. I bought some nice fresh catfish and fresh shrimp. I dug out my deep fryer cooker and we had fried fish at home for first time in years. It wasn't just good it was the bomb. It was so good. But since I never eat fried food my stomach is trying to tell me never again. I planned for this so I should still be ok for my range. I know of many healthier alternatives but I wanted this for a long time and I got it.I do not feel quilty. If I went over on my calories I would feel quilty. But I haven't.
Well I am going back and see if Bill wants to work on our domino's game we started last night.I hope you are all having a great weekend.

PS I lost 2.4# this week

Good for you! We all deserve something special occasionally but since your tummy didn't appreciate it, I am sure you won't be craving it again soon. When we eat healthy as a routine, fried foods do this to all of us, but, like you, gotta have my fried catfish occasionally - and pay the price!

    emoticon2.4 down!! That's great!!

When I eat fried foods my tummy always tells me no more!! I don't eat it as often and sometimes it hits the spot but most other times it just sits in my tummy. You deserve it so you shouldn't feel guilty. You planned for it and you'll be just fine today.

Hopefully tonight will be a better night sleep for you. I went to bed and slept last night but I didn't get enough sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep in a little tomorrow.

It was a good day. I hope your tummy settles down soon. Do you have any peppermint tea you could drink to help it along?

Thanks so much for your comments, i'm suer enjoying getting to know you.
